Yes Azzy I'm that bitter I haven't mentioned it since last Wednesday Laugh Laugh have you lost the plot lately? You used to be whitty & smart but that just makes no sense at all.

Could you do his extra two weeks worth after all?

That's overstepping the line Nick. Back off.

And I'm still bitter about Germany knocking England out of Italia 90 - just because you don't type it on a fake manager forum, doesn't mean you're not still bitter Laugh

And we're most definitely NOT all friends here OK

Post by sodhat Tue 12 Mar 2013, 1:44 pm

Here is a clusterf*ck of reasons, that I won't make look prettier:

-------------------------------------------

Deportivo la Chorizo 1-0 No Respek
Soldado - N/A
Change in formation for No Respek didnt help them settle quick. They lost a foothold on the match & went down early on to which they did not recover. Garay struggled a bit to pick up the pacey runs of Lamela & Pato but Cabellero was able to see any testing efforts. Deportivo la Chorizo were well organised & carried out there individual roles well today. No Respek surprise formation change did not pay off.

Pass the Deutschie 0-2 Dos Cervezas por favor
Default fine.

Bratwurst Mannschaft 1-1 Under Brescia
Mandzukic - Tevez
Interesting tactics having Kehl man mark Pirlo. As good as he is it worked to good effect. Pirlo was able to make space for himself but not anywhere near enough to take hold & control the match. Bratwurst Mannschaft took the lead after a Shaqiri cross found the head of Mandzukic who did not miss from 6 yards out. With individual brilliance Under Brescia have throughout their team it hard to hold them down. With Tevez nipping at defenders heels Godin was caught sleeping which allowed Tevez to make the most of his one on one with Adler. Bratwurst Mannschaft piled on the pressure Buffon was to thank for Under Brescia leaving with a point.

-------------------------------

Deportivo La Chorizo 0-2 FC No Respek

I like the way No Respek set up, and it largely nullifies Soldado and Isco, the main 2 attacking threats of Chorizo. I like the fullbacks to hold their ground. Up front, I can see the front 3 causing too much trouble for Chorizo. Unpredictability pays off for No Respek.

Bratwurst Mannschaft 0-1 Under Brescia

I'm not a fan of Kehl on Pirlo. Think Pirlo is too clever to be pinned down for 90 minutes, and its somewhat akin to 11 vs 10 at those points. I like the set up better than Trebs', using the wingers and Mandzukic better, but its a tad too negative vs a very good UB side for me.

---------------------------------

Deportivo la Chorizo 1-1 No Respek
Two sides who both put in good performances today. Chorizo should have encouraged their full backs to get forward as they could have doubled up on the opposition full backs whereas they did well to stifle the middle of the park where Matiudi and Sissoko made things difficult.

Pass the Deutschie 0-2 Dos Cervezas por favor

Bratwurst Mannschaft 1-1 Under Brescia
A creditable draw for Olly here. They dealt well with most of Brescia's threats and defended well throughout. However, Kehl chasing Pirlo was the wrong decision for me. Someone like Kevin Prince Boateng or Shinji Kagawa would have been more suited to this role for me. Brescia need more options upfront as while they have Tevez, there was nobody brilliant to bring off the bench and Fischer isn't good enough at this level for me.

-----------------------------------------

Deportivo la Chorizo 0-0 No Respek - both side set up well to negate each other into a dull dra

Pass the Deutschie 0-120 Dos Cervezas por favor

Bratwurst Mannschaft 0-1 Under Brescia - a unique idea by trebs but unfortunately Brescia have a lot more then just Pirlo to cause damage with Tevez eventually nabbing a winner

-------------------------------------------

BM 1-3 UB

thought man markingpirlo stooped him but unbalanced the side, and IMO manzukic didnt do mch of an impact, while UB were far more decent when attacking.

DC 2-1 NRFC

the game is won in the middle, DC dominate the middle Respek have a great front 3 but felt the midfeild didnt quite build the foundations

---------------------------------------------

No Respek 1-1 Deportivo la Chorizo
Ballsy move by Azzy in his last hurrah and it almost pays off. There was a slight discrepancy between his fullbacks being told to attack but also seemingly having a defensive remit. With out and out attack I would probably have gone NR because la Chorizo aren't built to counter quickly. As it is, it will be attritional in the middle and a goal a piece.

Under Brescia 1-0 Bratwurst Mannschaft
Classic Olly anti-football today looking to stifle the opposition entirely. I think it can be effective for a large part but I think Pirlo is intelligent and with Kehl following him he can pull him away and create space over the pitch for the superior UB attackers. Ultimately they only get one, but it's all they need.

Got to admit I thought using Kehl to man mark Pirlo was a strange move. Not really Kehl's game and Bender might have been a better option for it.

Glad that seems to be reflected in the comments

2nd comment - new formation = good result

Players mean nothing, it's all in the heads of the other managers Laugh
