After a post I put on the "knockouts that shocked the world" topic was thinking how do people rate James Kirkland?

Two fights that show the polar opposite ends of his fights. The shocking loss to Nobuhiro Ishida and his great comeback win against Alfredo Angulo. Has a unique trainer in Ann Wolfe. His episode of ring life was really interesting. What do you guys think? Great power, shocking chin, seemed one dimensional to me in his tactics. Entertaining though, knocks them out or they knock him out

A fine boxing specimen with excellent offensive attributes, but poor defensive ones and a poor chin. He also seems to have a very poor boxing brain.Also, worst business decisions I have ever seen made. Turns away money and fights, and brings suits against companies that are going to bury him financial or stall his already stalled career until there is nothing left.

He was suing his promotional company or something, last I heard. That's why he hasn't fought in ages. Also, he has turned down big money fights with Canelo and others, which is fair enough if he isn't ready, but the way he manages his career he will never see the light of day again.
