I find it funny that Heseltine is from Swansea and Michael Howard (dracula) is from Llanelli.

I wouldn't dare!
(Unless the man from ATOS is about...)
And Geoffrey Howe is from Port Talbot.

Why is that so funny, does anyone actually see the amount of work he does.I think he will play full back and may score a brace, have a feeling it will click into place for him and the team.
Feel free to rip it to shreds but that's my opinion.

There aren't 30 choices there so I am not voting.
Tom Youngs could be a possibility, as well as Richard "Debbie Harry Drag Act" Hibbard (love the hair!) if they both play to the top of their abilities. Tom Wood isn't there. Neither is Ian Evans.

Will Danny Care slice the ball up on the roof ?
It will give that pesky ball boy something to do apart from cheating.

I'm getting a little worried about your obsession with welsh kids... Youve mentioned a ball boy on about 6 different occasions now, do I need to make a phone call to the authorities?

haha, sorry mate but I enjoyed that cheeky little episode leading to that 'try'. Ok maybe you're right and I'd better stop talking about it.
But hope it doesn't happen again Saturday, or you'll be hearing more from me. Also hope Care has been practising his box kicks, just in case Youngs gets injured.

The ballboys will certainly be doing that again on Saturday, retreiving the ball and handing it to a Hooker, infact that is exactly what theyre there for!

Me too, I think Robshaw was MOTM v Italy, and IMHO 1/2p has been given twice the amount of MOTM awards he's been given just for being a goalkicker.
Difference is if Wales lose 1/2p has still been standout, and is 'holding Wales together' whereas Robshaw seems to become enemy number 1 when England lose!

Do they pay the young lad to hand his balls to a hooker?

Re: Who will be best player on Saturday?
Anyhow, I think you can safely predict it as
England win, hard fought match -: Robshaw
Wales win, hard fought match -: Warburton (or Halfpenny if Sam gets injured)
England win, open flowing game -: Farrell (or 36 if he plays)
Wales win, open flowing game -: Biggar or Phillips
And most likely they will go on and on about the real MOM during the game, and then when they announce them, say "player x can consider himself unlucky not to be the man of the match, he had a real cracking game, but for all around performance my man of hte match has to be player y (less deserving, but bigger name/lions hopeful)"

Agreed. The rugby ball boys are far more crafty.
The football ball boys aren't smart enough to disguise flopping over the ball, which is 2nd nature to most flankers.
Is this a result of selective education in Wales or something ?

We're not talking about the Match winning ballboy again? That guy gets too much credit. His career has nosedived since so let's not overdo his greatness.

I think he became overrated and it went to his head. 'Strictly' might be interested in him though.

Their job is not to just retreive the original ball though, it's to have a ball to hand for when one goes into the crowd they don't have to go retreive it before play goes on!!!
I'm confused as to why you think a ball boy handing a professional athlete a ball has done anything wrong?

And if Ireland are worried about that incident so much they should hire Dan Hipkiss, he loves to stand on the touchline stopping players from the actual game from taking quick ones...

I think it is one of the laws...any refs out there ? ... that the 'quick throw' ie no formal lineout formed up.. is allowed only by throwing back in the actual ball which just went out. Ball lost in crowd = a proper line out has to then be formed before the ball / throw is played. This is my understanding, but don't mind if I'm corrected by someone who knows more.

That is correct, however the ball boy did what he should have. It was Matthew Rees who did something wrong, as did the ref and the linesman.
To be honest it would these boards would really liven up if something like that happened again, say in the final minute, to give wales their 8 point margin.

Jonathan Kaplan did nothing wrong. He took the word of Peter Allan who said he was sure it was the same ball. He couldn't have guessed his assistant would lie to him, which is what happened.

Shame Clancey didn't listen to Nigel like that on Saturday otherwise there may well have not been a grandslam up for grabs this weekend.

Based on BOD's and POC's reactions I'd have lied and said it was the same ball too!!!
