Most predictable Wrestlemania ever?
I was thinking about the confirmed matches so far and I feel like I already know what's going to happen.
Rock v Cena - Cena will win to get Rock v Cena to 1-1 and will put the WWE's golden boy back on top.
Del Rio v Swagger - Very very very unlikely that Swagger will be rewarded after Weed The People gate, I also see Dolph cashing in.
Undertaker v Punk - Taker was probably going to win anyway, now with the death of Paul Bearer and the way Punk has "disrespected" Bearer, it's even more likely that Taker will win and dedicate it to Paul.

Re: Most predictable Wrestlemania ever?
There's definitely something to be said for this Wrestlemania being pretty predictable. Having said that, it's only a very small minority of fans who follow the business as closely as us, so I don't really think it's a problem.
Besides, I reckon there is at least a small chance that either man could win any of the big matches. Even though it seems predictable, you'd probably predict at least one outcome incorrectly from the top 4 or 5 matches.

I think as long as the Punk/Taker match is as good as I know it can be I'll be happy, I think I'd like to see Punk win but I already know that he probably won't and I'd still be pretty happy with Taker winning it.
Also if Dolph cashes in and wins the WHC I'll be happy enough to class it as a good show haha.

I can't imagine you'd get much back on a bet of Taker winning at Mania.

I'm pretty sure we were all convinced Cena would win last year. Who knows what could happen with that match.

Re: Most predictable Wrestlemania ever?
I thought Rock had a legit chance last year to be honest, I think Cena will win this time but its the nature of how he'll win that intrigues me, will it be like a man and do it the right way and win clean or will he be so desperate to banish those feelings of last year that he'll do whatever it takes to get the win, including a heel turn and help from the Shield...

Yeah Cena saying he needs to beat Rock is similar to when Austin was saying it before WM17.

Re: Most predictable Wrestlemania ever?
You can pretty much predict the winners every match this year! Think it'll be the same next wheeling out all the "legends" maybe worse as it WM30! So hopefully by WM31 there will be no need to bring back past glories as HHH seems to be committed to bringing through new talent and they'll have 2 years to make 2 or 3 superstars!
Re: Most predictable Wrestlemania ever?
The only legend they 'wheel' out is The Undertaker. But whilst he might not have long left he is still a huge draw and you can put your house on him putting on a hell of a 25 minute match. Sure he only comes back for his one night in the spotlight but he'll generate more interest in that one night than most others will over a year.
I don't believe Austin will actually wrestle again, so that only leaves HHH, Brock and The Rock, all of whom i believe are still very much legitimate and have alot to offer, even if it is on a part time basis.
Am i still a mark for a big name draw? When it comes to paying for a PPV, yeah i am.
