Who am I?
Thanks to McKay I have the hunger for some trivia once again. So here goes:
I am a former international rugby player and have also represented my country in bobsleigh. Actually I only competed in the national bobsleigh championships.
I have represented the B&I Lions and played in two world cups.
Neither of parents are from the country I represented.
I wrote a book on rugby conditioning.
Who am I?
-Whoever guesses right may start a new who am I.

Have the answer, but haven't got a good question to follow up.
You've missed out his cracking middle name

Re: Who am I?
OK - so the answer is Daniel Darko Luger.
Next question:
A Lions tourist, but never capped. One world cup and one Grand slam
Played his last Test match alongside one brother, who was making his debut, and played in one Barbarians match very much alongside both his brothers.

They played in one World Cup or won one World Cup?

Glad I've inspired you...I think this site is missing a bit of trivia...I don't have the time to do it regularly anymore. but will do the quiz as often as I can

McKay gets it even before my clarification.
The Milne brothers once provided the entire front row for the BaaBaas. That's a family that could give the Quinnells a run in the food bill stakes...

Not sure what gave it away to be honest. Wasn't sure if Iain and Kenny had played together so had to check...

Peter Stagg. 28 caps for Scotland at Lock, 3 caps on the 68 Lions tour to SA, living in Zambia in 1975 and played for them against an East African XV

Re: Who am I?
I am a bit of a rarity, a prop forward who has scored a drop goal for my country. I captained my country on 67 occasions, have been inducted in the IRB hall of fame and was knighted for services to rugby and business.

Not Dunning! Not many props are captains. Is he an AB who recently died?

Re: Who am I?
London,
I am no sure if you're being a little sly but is it John Smit, who I think captained SA around 60+ times and played a number os Tests at prop, despite being usually a hooker. Also have vague memories of him having scored a drop goal. The knighthood thing is throwing me though, cannot recall hearing that and am resisiting the urge to cheat.
Or are those 67 times as capatin including non-tests and therefore should I be thinking amateur era?!

Re: Who am I?
Didn't know the drop goal! Like I said not too many prop captains.
The 1995 RWC match against Japan saw many records for Nz. Most tries by an individual - Marc Ellis- most points scored and most points scored. Who's the last one?

Re: Who am I?
If you are asking who scored the most points ever in a game, in that win - I have a funny feeling it was the second choice stand off, Culhane.

Re: Who am I?
I think it's Simon Culhane if I've understood the question right...

Re: Who am I?
You both have understood and answered correctly a poorly phrased question! I think it was 45 points by culhane. Just 20 for Ellis. Tiger gets it by a nose.

Re: Who am I?
I did not have a number 1 single with "Don't Give Up On Us".
I did however captain my team to Grand Slam glory, and am famous for walking slowly.

Yeah right, bet you have the song somewhere
thankfully I do not remember it - but Owen Wilson performed it in the Starsky and Hutch movie.

Is that a quote from the movie, or the new clue?

Agree with soemone earlier, I think it's Dan Luger. I have his conditioning book too!
