I feel for the kid a bit. His tackle was reckless, but I don't think it was malicious or intentional, and now a young kid is going to get hung up to dry.

Wigan and Dave Whelan could have dealth with this so much better, as could the FA.

Taken a punt on Sturridge, who I didn't think would do well at Liverpool, but has surprised me and is doing quite well, hopefully that'll continue now! Cambiasso, safe innit.

Dave Whelan's comments were delusional

Dave Whelan should be facing an FA ban. For an owner to come out with such obvious tripe, he should be banned then sectioned under the mental health act. What a moron. Any respect I had for that club (it wasn't much to begin with) just went straight out of the window. I might hate them more than Huddersfield now.

I don't, stuff him. Footballs a funny game like that.
Ive seen lesser challenges results in worse in more high profile matches. Ref & FA have made their decision & thats it. Players, managers, chairmen, fans whatever, deal with it. Let be honest here, there was 3 points on the line out of what was a maximum 30 available from that point to end of season. Ohhhhh Big Loss Rolling Eyes

Fact is he should have been sent off at the time, he should be hit with a long ban.

What he shouldn't be is targetted because the FA or the referees are not good enough to do what they are supposed to.

One guy on Talksport made a good point. The FA have overturned red cards in the past, despite the ref seeing the incident. What is the difference here that means they can't do the reverse and give a ban?

That hardly ever happens for a challenge though.

Most bans dished out after matches are to do with.....swearing at Leeds fans Laugh & such type things.

The Ben Thatcher ban was one where the gave him a ban despite the ref seeing the incident (or so I recall). There IS a precent, it's just that the FA lack the cojones to act as they should.

Every single football fan I know thinks he should be banned, most for a lot longer than 3 games. I'd prefer him to sit out the remainder of the season, or failing that, to be sent on loan to Scotland for the season.

Decent enough Hero, although I disagree with Gregers about him moving.

He wasn't even close to game time, even in their second team, when he was coming through at Barce. He is now getting games at Sampdoria and is flourishing. He needs to stay where he is IMO.

I looked at him when I was after an U21 striker. I went for Locadia instead who is similar, but Locadia was less than £1m and Icardi was something like £4m.

I know you are building a Serie A based team though, so if it is Serie A U21 striker, then at c£4m he is not a bad shout

I heard Messi is good Hero.

There is a better Italian U21 striker if thats what your lookign for Hero but hes more expensive than 4m.

Cheers fellas, I keep seeing rumours on him going to Napoli, City, Liverpool etc and strike options is where I'm looking at currently, brought in Xavi yesterday, I know he doesn't fit the Serie A template but it was one where if I didn't buy him then someone else would.

I think he could end up moving to Inter, but I'm not sure it would be a great decision for him.

Yet again dodging the issue eh Zebs? For a guy who has a lot of opinions you very rarely explain why you have them.

"McManaman shouldn't be banned" - explain. I'll then send it in a letter to Massadio Haidara and see what he thinks.

There's no restrictions based on nationality or age, the theme I've done is more one I've placed upon myself, thought he'd pair well though with Lamela in the team.
