I'm not trying to be elitist, but I don't see the point of allowing a nation to compete, for whom conceding less than 6 is an achievement.

It makes sense to have a preliminary round but the FA's of the countries like Lichtenstein, San Marino, Azerbaijan etc won't back that because of the windfall they get - especially if they draw England.

Thats would be the most straight forward sensible thing I think. Its basically earning/proving they can compete.why not a CL qualifying round of home and away legs.

They have as much pull as our FA does. Probably more, because everyone hates our FA.

No one interested in Tevez? Definately available for a good cash offer somewhere just north of his lawyers value equivalent.

Funniest bit about that clip is how both teams are trying to play possession but neither looks at all comfortable on the ball

Im not sure anyone has that kind of money at the moment tbh and with Carlos he could be back on a plane to Argentina any minute so would be a big price for potentially someone who's going to disappear in a instant but hopefully he's got over that. none of the Citeh forwards have been that impressive this season which is where their title defense has gone down the crapper for me and Silva's form

Looks like it's a lawyers or nothing then. Shame because he is always right at the top of the top scorers list in both the league and the cup

Re: Euro Division Homepage LIII
Tevez has probably been in his best form of the season recently. But City's "struggle" is down to a lot of big players not being on the same form as last year (Yaya, Kompany, Silva).
Tevez is one of the few who has played better this year, albeit because he didn't really play last year.
I think it is a bit surprising no one wants him given he has been my main striker in a season and a half that I haven't done badly in and there are very few teams with a striker of his undoubted ability.
The disappearing to Argentina/clearout in the summer is daft as by the time we get to June, we'll be half way through the 3rd and last season. But no one having £29m I can understand

He gets to visit the Amsterdam Arena once a season and the way he's new side are going he won't even be getting that next year considering their 3rd bottom

The problem with that is you could buy Tevez for 29m or Their top scorer in Dzeko for 24m
5 million less more goals just seems common sense

Dzeko would be a better buy for next season when hes playing for Dortmund. Looks like he'd struggle to care less atm.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LIII
Plus you can't actually buy Dzeko until near the end of the season.
You can buy Tevez, who is clearly the better player despite his disappearing act, right now. Dzeko they paid a fortune for and they are looking to sell him back to Germany asap to try and make their money back. Tevez can throw a hissy fit, disappear off to Argentina for 6 months, refuse to make contact, get told he will never play for City again, and then at the first sign of him changing his mind, he is welcomed back and put into the team alongside Aguero
Tevez's only drawback is his sulk and disappearance to Argentina. In that time he was away his TM value dropped from £35m to £20m, and now it is climbing back up again
