Why would Lew sign for United, when RVP is clearly going to be ahead of him in the pecking order? Both are straight-forward STs, Lew won't replace Rooney behind the striker, and nor can RVP drop back. That would be a bad signing by Fergie unless he changes formation - not likely imo.

More likely for United is that they have one last spending spree for Fergie, getting him a coupe of wingers and an AM.

RVP used to play a more reserved role for Arsenal iirc. When Adebayor was actually good.

He did, but wasn't a £40m striker then. He's probably the best finisher in the game, a far better striker than Lew, so makes no sense to diminish his offering just to accommodate Lew. Better off buying Hamsik than Lew if you're selling Rooney.

I don't see whos going to buy Rooney. United will want too much for a guy whos blown hot and cold most of his career and has never really developed in the world class player his potential hinted at.

Chicharito to exit but the only place I saw that was Bleacher report & let be honest, they dont much about "Soccer".
They did an article on Why Rooney Needs to Leave Man United Link Here which must be some of the biggest load of BS Ive ever read. Basically because he was left out the starting line up against Madrid & due to losing penalty duties apparently hes dropped down the pecking order & should leave.
Some of their articles on Who Liverpool Should Buy & poop like that just speak volume about the lack of knowledge on football

Not anyone can write for them, they vet everything, but it is largely based on contributions from non-pro writers.

You should probably take it for what it is, which is effectively a hyperbolic blog that occasionally chucks in some news.

Quite the opposite, he got frustrated that his bids weren't responded to within 30mins, and wasn't at all understanding of the fact that me and GSC lead very separate lives, and have to wait for the other person to comment before agreeing a response. He actually did okay out of foreigns.

But it was the lack of spark with him, he was always a jovial sort of chap, but came across as downright miserable from day one. He actually made Bull look like he was on good LSD Shocked
