Toulalan and Dembele out, David Luiz and Mkhitaryan in. Took a gamble on getting Alonso, didn't quite work out.

Toulalan at DM v Luiz at DM, who's better?

I like Luiz as a DM, but he'd have to play there more often to be rated above Toulalon.

Missed on Alonso, boosted my attack with Schurrle and Walcott
Schurrle yes, Walcott the jury is out as id imagin he would get mixed reactions from people. Bit like Carrick, either love him or mate him.

I hate to say it Marky, but I'd have to say Toulalan. Luiz hasn't played DM enough to have an idea of how good he'd be there, whereas you know you're getting 7/10 from JT every game.

Caballero
Azpiliceuta - Varane - Garay - Alaba
Alonso - Sissoko
Menez - Isco - Tello
Soldado

Very happy with that

Monreal is potentially available

Disagree Afro, Alaba > Monreal, plus can play different positions. Monreal's hardly been great for Arsenal thus far, and wasn't exactly pulling up trees at Malaga either. He's good, but not as good as Alababallabingbong.

I thought you might. I know you rate Alaba

I've never been that convinced by him, whilst Monreal was excellent for Malaga and imo, has been good for Arsenal too.

But this is a game of opinions and what makes it so interesting/tricky.

And neither of us vote on Greger's league games Laugh

I wondered if someone would mention that Wink

The reality at present is I have a few different options to fill in the AM role.

Berbatov, Kovacic, Douglas Costa, Afellay, Mkhitaryan if I play someone else in midfield, but i'm not sure yet.

I have a fiver left in my William Hill account to put a bet on later. I generally do acca's and I am looking at these:

Holland>Romania
Serbia>Scotland
Belgium>Macedonia
NI<Israel
Wales<Croatia

Pays at 9.77/1. Worth it?

Holland vs Romania is the dodgy one, I'd never bet on the Dutch. But the other four are nailed on I reckon, bar another Gareth Bale masterclass.

The only one I'd worry on is Israel. I know they played well against Portugal, but they also probably feel a bit deflated after that...

Hah, true. Walcotts been really good for Arsenal this season though. I've been wanting to see Arsene play him through the middle for years
Wenger hs not done well with Walcotts progression & must take some of the blame.
Playing Walcott in the center, watching him score & do well one week to the next week dropping him back to the wing or even to the bench does not help the player.
After being at Arsenal for 6+ seasons is safe to say Walcott has not fulfilled expectations. I put some of this down to Wenger.
I think Walcott has a great attitude & desire, he shows he wants to play & will play where needed. He has been playing out of his preferred position for years, he has however reiterated his ambition to play central but I dont recall him ever moaning like a bizatch such as Daniel Sturridge did at Chelsea. I give him credit for that.
The fact hes not the brightest footballer hasn't helped him, he basically know how to run fast & that's it. Theres been little progression on his technical game.

Sadly I think Ox is going to go the same way. So much promise, more technical promise than Theo, but Wenger just isnt nurturing him properly. If he isnt going to play send him out on loan to get first team football.

Not sure where it was, but yes, Albion bought him solely because of that goal. Scored a screamer for us in his second game, then was largely anonymous for the next year or so before he left. Shame, he had a wicked left foot. Poor David Seaman.

That was a cracker Azzy.

The best I've scored so far was with Modibo Maiga, picked up the ball in his own half, beat a man, ran at another and beat him and then slotted into the corner from the edge of the box.

Imagine Owen vs Argentina in 1998, except Owen is black, Senegalese, and playing against Wigan.

And not real.
