Aside from them having the biggest budget in League 1, I did say Bournemouth should walk the league, they're currently 2nd and should go up. So fair play to them.

Crawley are 10 points from the Playoffs with 5 games to go. 5 wins and snookers required IMO, so i'll settle for mid table mediocrity in our first ever League 1 season.

So after giving in to temptation and buying the 87 IF Higuain, I this morning went and bought the 85 IF Soldado, replacing Gomez and Mandzukic.

Higuain has scored just 1 in 8 games so far - but he's set up at least 10 in that time. Is there a way of checking how many assists your FUT players have racked up?

Also, does anyone else have the bug that 'deletes' the yellow/red cards your FUT players get? I had Schweinsteiger on 12 yellows and a red, and when he came back from suspension he had 0/0 Shocked

I don't think I've had any reds at all, and I've only had a handful of yellows, mostly harshly given in my eyes.

I never really slide tackle unless it really is a last ditch move, or I'm trying to block a shot.

Schweinsteiger has played over 150 games for my FUT (Pique has just passed 220 I think). Because I play 3-5-2, those 4-3-3 pace abusers get a lot of shots in, so my CBs are sliding in to block shots, and my DMs are sliding in to protect them.

Strangely, I've got 0 bookings for Xavi, who's my other DM. I think Schwein likes it rough.

I tend to run alongside players and then sort of barge them off the ball with the directional stick rather than using B or X to tackle.

Either that or just stand off them and wait for them to make an error or hit a shot.

Every time I go for a tackle and miss I leave gaping holes in my defence. My general rule is that the only time I'll take control of a CB is if they are literally all I have left. If I do I'm in trouble.

I do the same Soddy, I try to use the furthest possible player away from my goal first, then resort to the CBs at the death. Luckily for me Ramos and Pique have good positioning, it's Hummels that really lets me down.
