Amir Khan Interview. Empty Amir Khan Interview.

Post by hampo17 Tue 09 Apr 2013, 9:38 am

I've been able to arrange an interview with Amir Khan, it'll be via email however I'm hoping it's the first step of him coming on the podcast in the near future.

Any questions you want me to send over post them in here. Looking to send them over on Friday.

1) Where do you see yourself in 2 years time?

2) How much do you think Virgil will change your game

3) How far up the weights can you go?

4) Is Kell Brook a possibility next year at Welterweight, and if so, how do you see it going?

It won't really be Amir answering... With that in mind

Why can't Amir Khan speak for himself?

Due to the fact that you were headlining at a very young age and early stage of your career, and that you're one of the more high-profile British fighters of recent times, do you think that some boxing fans are too harsh on you and too quick to go over the top whenever you've had a career setback as a result?

To most people, the three best wins on your record so far came against Kotelnik, Maidana and Judah, all of which were excellent for different reasons. Which one means the most to you, or which are you most proud of?

You're supposedly in line to fight whoever wins Golden Boy's Light-Welterweight unification tournament between Judah, Peterson, Matthysse and Garcia some time in 2014. How are you going to keep yourself busy in the meantime as those guys fight it out? Do you think it's going to be tough to find viable opponents between now and then?

Of the above four, who would you most like to fight (or rematch), and why?

Your attacking skills along with your defensive vulnerabilities have made you an exciting fighter to watch - but would you swap that for complete domination at Light-Welter and Welter if it meant becoming a safety-first and cautious fighter who doesn't pull in as many viewers?

Can you ever see your former training partner Manny Pacquiao coming back in to pound for pound contention after his recent setbacks, or do you think the world has seen the last of him as an elite fighter now?

What improvements has Virgil Hunter made to you as a fighter?

Have you worked more on defence these last few months?

Touchy subject in some aspects Truss, but id probably agree that it has helped him shoot to stardom.

A pakistani british fighter, olympic medalist........

Would he have been as well known had he been white/black.

Its an interesting topic, maybe you should start a separate one.

It'll be his agent. They probably get hundreds of similar requests from websites across the globe and I imagine he'd have some standard answers.

How have you dealt with the news that you are unwelcome in Birmingham? Did you seak counselling? Peer support?

What's a wasteman?

Who would win out of Garcia and Maidana?

Do I look good in lycra? I've tweeted you some pictures over the years but you never respond.

Is Manny good at cuddles?

There's this chick I know and, well...I just don't what to say to her.

Would you trade in your exceptional hand speed, so it was only adequate, for a cast iron jaw?

Sometimes I think all my friends are just humouring me...

After my cat died I wasn't sure if I could ever love again. I'm still not sure.

Have you ever considered getting into therapy? I find telling you about myself very soothing.

What's your favourite religion besides Judaism?

Hardest punch you've ever taken?

Hardest punch you've ever landed?

What's it like to spar Pacquiao?

Pacquiao v Mayweather circa 09. What happens?

How prevalent is steroid use in boxing?

How cute is Tim Bradley? :)x

I'm going for a little cry, talk to you soon, Amir..
