Old footage

Afternoon all.
After reading the Henry Cooper obituary, there was refrence to a fight with a chap called Piero Tomasoni
They go on to say that he was knocked out by a shot that lifted him off his feet,,
Try as I might i cannot find any footage of this fight.
So my question is where is the best place to look for footage of the old fights/fighters?

In this specific case I can't help you, sherm. I saw the fight at the time, but haven't seen it since. Tomasoni repeatedly fouled Cooper, who eventually lost his rag with him and unloaded an absolute beauty.
In general, there's plenty of good footage out there, both for sale on DVD and for viewing, on specialist boxing sites or the ' broadcast yourself ' sites, such as youtube.

Might have to start looking through some old dvd`s on ebay and suchlike,

The Boxing section on the BBC website have some good short clips of Cooper, one guy he knocks unconscious in the corner of the ring and the guy is laying over the bottom rope, this might be the fight but no idea.
