Fantastic strike.
Villa planning on defending at any point? Seriously useless so far

You'd have thought it was Manchester United who desperately needed the points. No fight from Villa.

Except a silly little bite is slightly different than trying to kung fu kick a fan and trying to punch a fan and getting criminal charges. Ivanovic has even accepted the apology.
Not advocating beating a fan and he would be gone in the modern game but being racially abused vs nothing and history of racism vs kicking a few people?
Suarez is lukcy to still be at liverpool after the racial abuse issue, really it's a cumulation of things.
Under no provocation he has bitten an opponent, then feigned injury afterwards. He is going to get a lengthy suspension, as good a player as he is, he can't be relied on. I'm sure if Cantona had a second spectacular misdemeanour he would have been sacked.
Also United banned him for the rest of the season immediately IIRC.
I'm not going to get into the racism debate, only that there is absolutely no evidence for it other than what Evra claimed. No video evidence, no complaint to the police so we wouldn't be able to see what happened if it got to court, but I don't think it'd make it that far. The FA have to have a very strong stance on racism, even in the face of no evidence.
I don't think it was "under no provocation", Ivanovic had been winding him up all game, yes it's all part of the game, but it wasn't unprovoked, if you reviewed the footage of the whole game and kept it all on Suarez you'd see Ivanovic winding him up a lot by holding him, probably getting a few digs in as defenders do. It didn't come from nowhere. It was just a ridiculous reaction to the provocation.
He admitted it, case closed.
He wasn't provoked, thats normal interaction between defender and attacker - he doesn't bite his opponents every week and Suarez is every bit the antagonist towards the defender.
I'll be honest your reply is embarassing.
I thought some of the things I've spouted defending Chelsea were a bit much but there's no one on this planet that can justify biting another human. Stop trying.

I haven't at all tried to justify it. I said it's not a reasonable reaction. I said he deserves punishment.
I'm just trying to put some perspective into it considering some of the ridiculous views expressed on this forum. How Suarez "assaulted" Ivanovic, or that Liverpool should get rid of him.

Bar Benteke, this Aston Villa side is really weak. Considering a couple of years ago they actually had quite a decent team, it's quite sad really. I mean they've sold Downing, Milner, Barry, Young in the past couple of years, all of whom this season have been playing in Europe while Aston Villa slip down the table. The replacements haven't been good enough.

That's the golden boot in the bag for RVP. Can he hit 30 for the season?

I get they're coming to OT but this has been a urine poor performance from Villa.

I'm fcking not.
This is pi55 poor from Villa.
Shocking defending as usual.
Lamberts first mistake, not strenghening the dfence.
Apart from Benteke's effort, pretty shocking.
Bennett has to be one of the worst defenders in the league.
How many times hav utd players had so much space onthe left.
Useless bunch of players.

No doubt but villa wouldn't be the first side to fluke a draw.
Even diegos getting a song tonight, can't beat a good rhythm.

4 more wins and they'll do it with a record points haul! Still plenty of areas to strengthen though, notably the centre of defence and midfield, to ensure United will be a genuine force in Europe next season - mind you, if Nani hadn't be sent off, I think they'd have beaten Madrid this year!

Fair enough he is a top player.
Rafael has come of age this season, always terrific going forward but only a handful of errors at the back, he'll streak clear next season.
Anyway he certainly isn't the worst to win a medal.
