Words can't describe my utter disdain for Luis Nani. Like Olly and Surman.

Officials wreck games all of the time. Happens week in week out all over the country.

He can do most of those, just his defensive nous is really lacking at times.
Much improved this season.

Sorry I meant Nani. Rafael's a good player, he just forgets he's a defender sometimes.

Sagna has to win contender for worst bit of defending of the season. Complete idiot.
Great pen from RVP, none the less.

Chelsea 2 up, Tottenham with a game in hand on Arsenal = Arsenal really need to win otherwise their top 4 ambitions may become a bit difficult.

Even with being well on top in the first half they'd an offside goal and united missed 3 good headed chances.
Can't see them getting the win tbh.

It's just been a midfield battler with neither team creating masses of chances, but then again with the formations I think it was expected.
I really want to see Nick Powell getting a few games at the end of the season now. I hope he isn't wasted at Utd.

Tony Fernandes has tried to ease the QPR fans woes by saying "it took 3 years to get Caterham" right.

So with the Title sorted, 2nd place secure, and two teams relegated, this season is now all about the battle for 3rd and 4th, as well as the fight for survival between Villa and Wigan. Gonna be a great last few games!

Just wanted to say how good Albion were yesterday. Fantastic away day, Sun was shining and we were superb. Takes us to our highest premier league points tally and our record amount of Premier League wins. Seems Swansea have got a lot of credit this season, but Albion sit 6 points above them and haven't been out of the top 9 all season. Come on you Baggies!
Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread Part 5
WBA very good year, what happens in the summer with probs no Odemwingie or maybe Lukaku doesnt return? Money to spend?

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread Part 5
Odemwingie hasn't started since January so that's not really an issue. Obviously Lukaku is a bigger problem. Personally, I'm quietly confident that he'll be here next season, particularly if Mourinho returns to Chelsea.
If not, after three seasons of Premier League and spending hardly any money, we have enough to make a couple of good signings to replace them. Been linked with Scott Sinclair who would be a great replacement for Odemwingie, and also with Bony of Vitesse Arnhem who looks a good player

Cracking win for WBA. I think you're not getting the credit you deserve due to the start you made, as you have tailed off a little over the last few months. Clarke has done a fantastic job in my opinion.
The game did have one of my pet peeves though. It's the fact that your man Fortune will get a three match ban for lightly slapping Ramirez, and Fox will gets exactly the same punishment for a potential leg-breaking challenge.

Probably fair enough but it wasn't realistic to think we'd keep that form up, particularly when we started picking up injuries to a lot of key players. Hopefully we can kick on for these last 4 games and get as many points as possible. Finishing 8th is pretty much the highest a club like us can hope to finish.
Fortune was stupid but I agree. Fox's challenge was a shocker, not suprised Reid was unhappy particularly with his injury record.
Depends who you listen to CF. National papers say that, a lot of the local journo's who are generally more reliable with their info say Lukaku wants to stay but obviously isn't up to him. If he goes out on loan in the Premier League, it will be to us. I'd wager money on that.
Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread Part 5
Parks and Rec is brilliant.
Yeah, he's been linked with Swansea what with them having European football next year and that would be good for him, but it's all up in the air depending on who ends up being our next manager.

I doubted Steve Clarke going into this season but he's probably been the manager of the year in the PL. The Baggies have looked comfortable throughout.

I think Odemwingie has burnt his bridges in this country myself.

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread Part 5
Don't see him going to Swansea. It's not much different than playing for Albion, other than a couple of Europa League games. If they wanted to send him to another country to learn another style of play, that would be a problem.
Personally after his little badge-kissing display yesterday, I think he will try and push through another loan if it looks as if he won't get a chance at Chelsea.

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread Part 5
I'd take Odemwingie at West Ham, he seems to have some principles about why he did what he did and why he feels he was led into acting that way, I'll take a player who tries to show rhyme and reason over the usual nutcases and layabouts who ditch clubs. Plus, hes a cracking player and would suit our system perfectly.
I also doubted Clarke, seemed a coach not a manager to me, see how his second season goes but cracking job so far.
If Chelsea arent gonna throw money at a striker then they are wasting a player by sending Lukaku out on loan. Better than Torres at the very least
