If Wrestlers Were Football Teams
If you could link any wrestler to any football (soccer to you Yanks) team then who would it be? I will start you off here:
John Cena would be Manchester United - hated by nearly everyone but still one of the most succesful of all time.
Over to you guys.

Triple H - Liverpool. Always near the top but believes they are much more relevant than they actually are.

Mr Kennedy - Leeds United - Looks like something special was gonna happen 10 years but faded away and struggling in the lower leagues.
Re: If Wrestlers Were Football Teams
Bobby Roode - Blackburn Rovers - given a massive push and won a title but now looks consigned to the mid-card.

Wouldn't Piper be more like Berwick Rangers as they both claim to be Scottish

JTG - Barnet
No matter what happens throughout the season, they always seem to scrape out of the relegation/summer clear-out zone whilst others fall by the way side and have yet to return.

Re: If Wrestlers Were Football Teams
Kane - Everton - Never as good as his brother but gets by well with what hes got, consistently solid with rare brilliant moments that let people forget that its all really about a big man. Feel that maybe with real backing he could have been something much better too, but its probably too late now and hes mainly used as a stepping stone.

Re: If Wrestlers Were Football Teams
Jeff Hardy - Blackpool(under Holloway) fun to watch but ultimately recklessness makes them lose.
Sheamus - Chelsea, meteoric rise to the top and lengthy reigns, now just below the best but not quite back at that level yet.
Liverpool - CM Punk, Bryan, Cesaro and Ambrose overated by fans, who seem to think them dominating the competition would be good for everyone for some bizzare reason. Often said that there way of playing is the right way. A lot of delusional fantasies.
John Cena - Man United was probably Hulk Hogan - Liverpool in the 80s.
Booker T - Andy Townsend says tell ya what a lot, not good at his commentry job.

Hardcore Holly - Stoke
No-one likes watching them, they physically rough up their opponents and they hung around in the top flight for too long past their welcome.
Norwich - The Burchills, brother and sister love taken to the extreme.
