Tactics due by 11.59 on Friday 3rd May

Votes will be due by 11.59 on Tuesday 7th May due to the bank holiday

Results, Lawyers and Injuries will go up on Wednesday 8th May due to the bank holiday

PLEASE NOTE - this season you will receive a 1 point deduction if you do not submit tactics (as well as a default loss) and a 1 point deduction if you do not vote. If you know in advance you are unable to do either, then you must state so on the Holidays/Days Off page, to avoid the penalties.

How are we going to gather evidence. It's one mafia person, who will presumably PM GSC who he is killing.

What possible evidence will we get that will help us pick the mafia person?

If we kill someone now, and we get it wrong, it makes it easier for the mafia to pick someone off an effectively move very close to winning.

I call for peace for now and let the Doc do his thing at night.

In all honesty, I don't think we should wait before killing someone. That only helps the mafia. As it was soddy who suggested that, I say let's bump him off.

I am of the opinion that killing someone, and getting it wrong, helps the mafia more than it hinders them. You're effectively taking a stab in the dark at this point.

I can't see a way of working out who is mafia, unless that person throws a clanger, so it's almost pot luck.

I will say if we must kill it should be Nando, purely because he was very reactionary when Azzy pointed him out.

Yes, but equally if you kill someone in the first round that isn't the mafia, you're doing their work for them
If you wait until the second round, someone can claim to be the doctor and maybe start pointing people in the right direction. Otherwise it's just sort of stabbing in the dark.

But that's why I said wait in the first round. You kill someone, and it could just tick someone off the mafia's list for free.

If you wait and the doctor saves two people, and neither dies, then you are at least getting some clues. If you can trust the "doctor" of course.

Otherwise it is literally a game of "lets just vote for someone en masse."

Clearly I'm going to vote in the first round else I could be dead before I ever actually get to vote. I'll always vote to kill someone first round.

So overnight, let's say soddy votes to kill Nando, and say I was the doctor (I wasn't), I vote to save Bull. So Nando dies, and people know I tried to save Bull?

You come out and say you tried to save Bull - they know that a) Bull is still alive, b) you are too, and you aren't mafia, and c) Nando is dead, but wasn't mafia either.

Narrows the field down much quicker.

And if you saved someone and there are no deaths at all, you know the person you saved is likely not mafia and was about to be popped off by someone else.
