Azzy Mahmood wrote:I've asked Bull and he can't remember about his tactics / voting. But to me, £6.5m over Weeks 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the season isn't much.

Can we agree that Bull provided tactics for, say, 7/9 weeks, and voted on say 5/9 weeks? Does that seem fair? So he'd have gotten 5x£2.5m and 2x£1m? I don't think he missed any tactics (because every week we laughed at his copy/paste job from my old ones), but I thought this conservative estimate would be fair.

Which would mean instead of £6.5m, he was due £14.5m - so I'd add £8m to the pot.

Does that sound fair?
Morning lads - what do you think of the above?

Just want to remind everyone that the morning after Manchester United went out of the Champions League to Real Madrid, I said this could be the last season of Sir Alex Ferguson. He looked like he'd had enough. I was ignored.

Told you all. Called it!

I think if they can tempt him, Jurgen Klopp.

They've missed the boat on Mourinho I suspect.

Not convinced by Moyes. Personally I'd go for Ancelotti to bridge it to the next young manager.

Though, I think its more likely SAF takes a break, and Phelan leads the team through preseason.

Klock should be first choice. But I think Moyes will get the job tbh. The Scottish connection shall continue through the kilt wearing scouse.

He wont be. Hip surgery will force him to miss it.
They've missed the boat on Mourinho I suspect.
Man United board never actually wanted Jose, the only value he shares with Man United is winning, nothing else about him is "Man United"

To be fair, Man United will have to make a statement soon due to their flotation on the New York Stock Exchange theres some clause thing (forgot correct name) where they have to divulge certian information, change of management is one of those.

Sir Alex retires

• Thirteenth league title in 26 years will be his last
• Most successful manager in English football history to become a director of Manchester United FC

NYSE: MANU. Manchester, UK. Sir Alex Ferguson will retire at the end of the season, Manchester United announced today.

The most successful manager in English football history will bow out after the West Bromwich Albion game on 19 May and join the football club board.

Announcing his decision to retire, Sir Alex Ferguson said:

“The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about and one that I have not taken lightly. It is the right time.

“It was important to me to leave an organisation in the strongest possible shape and I believe I have done so. The quality of this league winning squad, and the balance of ages within it, bodes well for continued success at the highest level whilst the structure of the youth set-up will ensure that the long-term future of the club remains a bright one.

“Our training facilities are amongst the finest in global sport and our home Old Trafford is rightfully regarded as one of the leading venues in the world.

“Going forward, I am delighted to take on the roles of both Director and Ambassador for the club. With these activities, along with my many other interests, I am looking forward to the future.

“I must pay tribute to my family, their love and support has been essential. My wife Cathy has been the key figure throughout my career,

Tamas is most definitely NOT my boy. I hate him, we should never have Bosman-ed him, waste of £25k a week.

Lads, any thoughts on me adding £8m from missed bonuses on Bull's part?

Dont really care about that Marky. Rooney is nothing compared to whats going on. If he wants to leave he can, his actions in the past have shown what his attitude is like & thats from his Everton days. He wants to be the big star man, hes not, big boo hoo.
I still think hes a great player though & I wouldnt like to lose him. End of the day he can be replaced.
Can Sir Alex be replaced though??

So, times like these are when you look at the best bits.

What was Fergie's best moment?

Has to be 1999 and the Treble, but more specifically that European Cup final.

I don't care who it is as long as it isn't Moyes.

We are stuffed when he goes.

And Azzy, without any clear idea on what cash has and hasn't been added, plus the fact that there were more weeks than you state that Bull tactics or votes were late, so it is difficult to tell.

Anyway the Directors of FC No Respek offer to step in and top your starting budget up to £12m.
