Cena fights through injury to beat the odds and Ryback

If it's a work to make Cena look strong when he beats the odds then it's ridiculous...does he even need to look stronger!?

If he's not beating the odds what does he have going for him?

What's he got going for him? He's Super Cena, the face of the company!

Calm down! Don't worry! The CeNation will get him through it...

Hope this means Ryback beats him and Cena has an excuse! Better if Ryback wins, Cena better chasing too, wont happen with Cena thoough eh!

Just a way of getting people to tune into RAW in my opinion,

If he is injured then I am sure he is fully capable of no selling it anyway and he will just continue as normal!

Sadly the way it is being reported it seems like a work. Too bad it isn't a genuine injury.

This is what I mean, he's already been made to look like a coward due to the fact that he didn't help Cena against the shield but Cena came to help him and now he's going to be made to look weak being beaten by an injured Cena.

From what I can gather from the dirt sheets is that Cena is injured (though not to the extent he's unable to wrestle) but the release of info about it is basically a dig at the Rock for his 'injuries'.

I thought as much. Further cementing the idea that Cena always continues with the WWE while The Rock walks away. Still won't make the fans like Cena.

Would they really do that though and risk alienating The Rock? I imagine they have high hopes he will wrestle at WM30 but making him look like a coward isnt going to make him exactly eager to return...

They've done things like this before which haven't stopped Rock coming, the whole original angle was based on The Rock not turning up.

I'd say the rock has alienated himself with his actions after wm and from what I've read the relationship between the two parties is not great at all. I don't hold much hope for a rock match at wm 30 right now.

It won't make any difference if he is injured, you can't get rid of the guy.....

I think if it was going to be a work they would have made more of an effort. Show him getting injured on TV, maybe after a Shield attack.

They did make one mention on Smackdown about Cena always being there for the fans. Odd to do it on the show he never turns up on

I don't think its a work but I do think its unnecessary to mention it unless they where planning on making a big story out of it, Cena doesn't need to look like an underdog here and doing so will only make a mockery of Ryback as well, how is the guy ever supposed to get fully over if he is seen as the badass monster who can't beat an injured Cena

Typical WWE, apparently at ER 2012, Lesnar was supposed to lose to Cena, but Cena was to be carried out, (instead, Cena gets up and thanks everybody for coming out), then the Rock is supposedly told that he would beat Cena at WM 29, but that got changed last minute. WWE seems hell bent on stuffing Cena down our throat, regardless of how much talent suffers

We all know its going to end in super Cena beating Ryback......the build up is pretty pointless. I couldn't be less interested in either of them.

I was begging for his music to hit during the Make a Wish segment last night.

What a way to get some heat that would have been. I actually thought it was done in such a cringeworthy way that that was the direction they were going with the segment...

Turns out it was just a cringe moment to show once again how much Cena cares.

Every week I feel like I am giving the guy stick, and I suppose I am but what else can I do. It seems that it is not enough to push the Superman gimmick...they now are shoving all of his work that he does down our throats even more. And is it just me who thinks that him picking up this minor injury yet insisting he is just hurt not injured is a way of not only one upping The Rock but also to a degree Punk?!

To be fair, it was done because it was some kind of 'Wish week', it wasn't totally random and it was for a pretty good cause. They used Cena because he was obviously the most popular with those kids, WWE do a lot of work with them in general. It's not as if that happens every week.

I think the idea of Ryback coming out and destroying the three children and their mothers before shouting 'FEED ME MORE' amongst their scattered bodies is pretty hilarious though.
