No, I'm just being biased and very nervous. Blow the bloody whistle. Man City have won, Wigan are guaranteed European football.

Big result tonight for Sunderland among others. Unless Wigan pick up at least a draw away to Arsenal then Sunderland likely to be safe on goal difference even if they don't get any more points themselves. Also assuming of course that Sunderland don't conceded loads more goals.

Swansea City Football Club. I thank you. I will never say another bad word about you.
Norwich City Football Club. Please, please, please finish the job off on Sunday. I beg you

Impressed by Swansea tonight, never panicked when they conceded and did enough to grind out a win. Laudrup looks like he could be a top Manager.

Sunderland upwards because of goal difference are basically safe if, as expected, Arsenal beat Wigan. Between Newcastle, Norwich & Wigan now.
A point should do it for both Newcastle/Norwich in my opinion but anything can happen. I mean, let's not forget the result Wigan achieved last season at the Emirates.

Well done Swansea.
Thought Wigan would win that.
Should be ok for us now.
As long as they dont grind out 3 points at the Emirates, and results go our way sunday.
Point for us sat nothing else will matter.

Moyes' odds have been slashed but I'd like Klopp if he doesn't win the CL. If he does win it, I hope he stays with Dortmund. I bet Moyes knew this all along and this is why he hasn't signed a contract.....

I heard that Moyes would be his Number 2 next season and then take over the season after. Don't believe a word of it. Why would Fergie retire, when Mourinho is coming back and we all know Fergie absolutely loves competing against him.
Fergie won't go until that third champions league is in the bag.

Could do with us getting the win saturday.
Can finally relax then, going into Wigan game.
Beat them and finish the season the season on a high.

@westisbest
Can see you grabbing a point, maybe more. If Chelsea beat Spurs tomorrow then they are sorted. Your game will just be viewed as a nuisance to Chelsea in preparation for the more important Europa League Final.
Your more than safe in my opinion. Even if things go bad, Benteke, Wiemann & Agbonlahor should walk all over Wigan's defense.

Interesting. Very interesting. I'll believe it when I see it but the Telegraph have it filling their back page and there's no smoke without fire.

The Telegraph also are hardly the Sun etc, they don't usually post articles without some weight behind it. This is looking ominous.
I wonder though if Maureen might be heading to OT rather than back to the Bridge.

Hope not. The man's a mercenary and thoroughly dislikeable. He's a tediously boring man who thinks the world revolves around him when the only thing that does is tediousness.

My pal who works at Man United (yeah, I'm being that guy) says "there is a big press announcement tomorrow - from what I've heard its about his future and people seem pretty certain he's going."
Hes only in the marketing department so obviously he has no real inside info but a feel for whats at the club

I don't. I think he's overrated; good manager, don't get me wrong, but he's a backside.

On of my favourite ever articles that, literally weeks before we would hammer Fulham on the opening day of the season on the way to 5 titles in 7 years, cl win, 3 finals, etc

Ferguson will be carried out of his office in a coffin. Ill believe he's retiring when he's not there next year.
Missed the boat on Mourinho I suspect.
Yet to be convinced by Moyes to a big club. No trophies, no European pedigree and an awful away record at big teams

Wigan have surely gone now, they'll probably need a draw at the Emirates and to beat Villa. I can't see both of that happening with an FA Cup final squeezed in the middle. Fergie retiring? Not a chance I'd have thought.

The question is, if Sir Alex went to Everton now, would he make them win trophies with their squad and finances?

The greatest British manager of all time, and one of the greatest worldwide of all time. I can't imagine Manchester United, or the PL, without him. He started at Man United 9 years before I was born, quite incredible he's lasted all this time. Would imagine Mourinho will take over, leaving Chelsea fans quite bitter.
