Why we should be more lenient to steroid abusers in Boxing!!
First topic message reminder :
Let's look at steroids and there affects..........on the Boxer...........Rememebr steroids increase muscle..........
1. Punching is a snapping motion not a pushing motion...........Lifting weights is a pushing/ pulling motion.......Won't affect power at all...
2. Lifting weights reduces muscle relaxation capacity.......More muscle means you're slower...makes you stiff..........makes you tire out faster
3. The weight behing your punches is not your muscle........It's your bodyweight...
other reasons too why steroids are pretty much useless to a fighter.....but these are enough!!

Its worse to have sports where some athletes are on drugs and some are not. Especialy in boxing. The ones who are not on drugs are more at risk. Just let them all take drugs and level the playing field.

Then you'd be hurting the athletes that want to be clean............
I see where you're coming from............and believe Boxing is rife..
I don't know the answer...........The big money is spent stopping the authorities finding one..

its not a level playing field, its simply who has access to the best drugs or the person who is willing to juice themesleves the most. talking about risks, if it were allowed the amount of athletes who would be die early on as a side affects to all the drugs

cant disagree there i agree it is a problem and has been for a while, but in my opinion they should be getting stricter not more lenient towards drug testing

Drug testing costs a fortune to implament and its effectiveness is limited. That is the sad reality. Even the highest levels of testing still only catch a minority of cheats and doesnt provide a deterrent.
