Louisa is this years 'how did she get this far' contestant it seems. She'll never win, but she'll be there till the end or near it.

Much like Leah this week, the only time she was nailed on to be fired, her team pulled her out of the fire.

I think Leah may have been safe. Sugar likes her for one reason or another even though the last 2 weeks have been poor for her.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
I'd have brought Luisa back into the Boardroom and laid into her all guns blazing:
- completely stuck up and condescending attitude all task
- hates the corporate world
- insulted the chocolatier
- actually did nothing in terms of the events laid on
- stood at the back of the room laughing at the team leader
- didn't stand up for herself, should have done the motivational speech herself but instead got walked over by Rebecca
- admitted she doesn't like working with women (the female Zee?)
- over all the tasks has alienated everyone bar her new boyfriend, who was also lucky not to get fired as Finance person
She's actual scum.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
If I was Rebecca I would have said that the only part of the day that got any positive reaction was the speaker. The cost was £600 but if it wasn't for such a good speaker the refund requested could/would have been higher so may not have made a difference.
At the start of the task Sugar said it wasn't only a financial task and then the decision was made based only on the finances.
Jason and Alex are comedy gold, the two of them need to stay in for as long as possible!

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
Apparently the Boardroom scenes are anywhere between an hour and three hours - they sit there, chat, make jokes, then get serious at times for the camera. It's why sometimes the candidates don't always look prepared for the questions. That Rebecca probably did say that, but it wouldn't have made Lord Sugar look good as everyone watching would have agreed with her!

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
That was truly cringeworthy from start to finish. Neil and Myles just about saved something out for their team, but both teams seemed impressively inept.
Think Lord Sugar fired the wrong one - Francesca probably saved as up until now she's seemed reasonably competent, but she deserved to go based on that task IMO, whilst as others have said Rebecca's insistence on the professional speaker was probably a good thing. Luisa is just very very annoying. And did nothing positive.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
See, Luiza at least saved her team a grand on a pointless exercise. Whereas the motivation speaker might have gone down well, but they still lost 25% regardless. Not to mention pioneering a wine tasting session for a school theme.
To fire Luiza for this task would be harsh. For me the failure lay with Francesca, they completely missed the point of the exercise.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
They would have won if they'd done what the other team did - create a bid bad boss type person. They had Colonel Alex for the Army, a Headmistress Luisa would have kept them 'on theme' and won them the task. Instead, she sat around doing sod all and made utterly pointless cupcakes.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
There was no actual point to their exercises though. For all the bad the winning team did, they at least had well thought out activities with a clear point.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
I saw their day as going like this:
- Introduction to the day, theme, expected outcomes, and the team running it
- Some teambuilding exercises like the plank-walking one, something like three legged races perhaps
- Lunch
- Wine tasting behind the headmistress's back
- Cupcake making for mum & dad / eating on the way home / whatever
- Motivational speaker that linked back to school days (one of the team)
- Lots of 'in school' characters and the headmistress being bossy / cheeky /flirty
What they got in the end was an hour of tea and coffee, a boring intro, one game, a long inedible lunch, terrible wine tasting, pointless cupcakes, and a great speaker. The failure of the task was everyone's, they didn't do what they said they were going to.

Sugar - "You're responsible for this task...you're fired!"
Anyone with balls - "No spudface, you set it all up ergo YOU'RE responsible for the task. I'm responsible for the failure of the task. However, the fact you and your team have seen fit to "hire" someone as inept as me speaks volumes about you're own business accumen so, overall, I'd say you were responsible for the failure of this task so how about this...YOU'RE fired and take that smug grinning skull Karen with you!"
Can't stand the self agrandising little tossbag. "Film me standing about looking moody and magnificant surveying all I own/wish I owned and ensure that everyone refers to me Lord Sugar at all times even when I'm not there."
Thought Mariah Carey deserved a slap but this guy? Jeez

The one who annoys me the most is Leah.
Always pouting and moaning - she should have gone last week over Zee.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
Dave has reminded me of possibly the most self indulgent opening of a programme ever. Sugar walking through a church door (I know it is not a church now) whilst grand church music is played and sunlight shines through a stained glass window. Making it look like the second coming of Christ or something!

I hope Louisa doesnt goes far in the show, she is a complete babe. And actually I think im liking her more as well. She defo wasnt to blame for the task failure, she saved them a grand. It was pretty awkward watching the meeting with the chocalatiere(?) though.

Kingjohn, google her name on google images with safesearch off. You'll like her a lot less then (she's a trout pout, bangers out, no shame, parents would be so ashamed of her type of girl). Not to mention anyone with half-decent moral character despises her on the show. She's a disgusting human being.

Already did Top girl!
Also I dont think she is a bitch, if she was she would have been nasty to Jason but clearly she was nice to him and worked well with him. Unlike some of the lads esp Alex.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
See that kind of thing disgusts me, she wants £250k from a Lord of the Realm yet goes around posting FB pictures of herself topless. This is what's wrong with society today, that that kid of behaviour is not only deemed acceptable but also enjoyed by others.
She stated she likes blokes (who'll do anything for a pretty lass who flickers her lashes at them), but hates women. Hence why she hasn't gone for any of the blokes yet.

Am I the only one who thought Neil was a terrible motivational speaker?
"Yeah, I'm proud of where I am today because my Dad died from cancer when I was 19..."
Probably the last thing I'd be motivated by!

She comes across as the type of girl who likes to manipulate weak men , but also who seems to quite like it when strong bloke takes charge .

To be fair to that Luisa, it has also been reported that all of those pictures etc came out 5 years ago when she was 18-19. Since then has she not became a mom etc? I'd love for you guys to see what some people my age get up to, really not a big surprise at all. Kudos on the judgemental tone though

The picture my wife showed me was of her (Luisa not my wife) behaving like a slag with another female contestant so I think the defence of immaturity is flawed. Wasn't she also knocking off that one with the huge forehead and really short legs during filming?
My impression of her is that she is a person with very low moral standards but with a very high opinion of herself.
On another note does it irritate anyone else that they advertise the show as "the toughest job interview you've ever had" but then people get "fired". How the f@ck do you get fired from an interview?
I find Neil Clough particularly motivational. He motivates me to think he is a complete ****.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
This week was a disaster really on both sides hence both companies asked for 25% back. Would say I think Miles and Neil saved Leah/Natalie (she was on her last warning according to Lord Sugar and spent the day in the kitchen) either one of them stood out as being suitable for firing had they lost. Obviously the board room scenes get cut down but it looked like Rebecca didn't defend herself very well, yes wine tasting was obviously stupid for the school theme but the fact it got through suggests they had literally nothing else and they had to put something on, and also they spent £650 on the motivational speaker but they said he was the best part of the day and was the only bit really linked to business the refund requested could have been more without that expenditure and customer satisfaction was meant to be part of the determining factors well it was the only part that seemed to have the customer satisfied. If I was Francesca maybe would have brought Jordan back he genuinely seemed to do nothing and was meant to be in charge of their finances but didn't ever look to be. I would have fired Francesca, theme of the whole day was lost quickly and ultimately she could have overruled the activities that didn't fit in with the theme of the event.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
Both teams, especially the losers didn't get the point of the task. They just tried to make a fun day rather than a business centred day. I thought Francesca should have been fired, Rebecca for me is a better candidate. Jason is an interesting one, he seems to have something there I think but he's looked down upon by most of the other tasks. The lads, Myles, Neil, Alex saved the day by getting into the army theme. Had they not done that then it surely would have been them that lost.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
Just watched the show.
Both teams were a joke and like trebs said they missed the point of the task. Neil Clough single handily won the task for his team IMO. Karren basically said this.
I think Sugar got the decision wrong, i would of fired the team leader. Not only because she actually works in hospitably, but everything she did seemed to be a bit of a disaster. She should of gone.
I found it pretty funny when they were arguing outside and were late for there appointment and the C.E.O of the bank was waiting.

Jason is sooooooo cute, and utterly, utterly adorable. Really, really hope he wins.
Enough of that though, Kurt deserved to be fired, as did Natalie for repeated failings. Myles must of been pretty close as well this week. Alex will probably be fired soon though because of his confrontational and rash attitude. Getting interesting now though.

I had it as 1 of those 2 getting fired, so both didn't surprise me. Kurt picked the wrong prouct then didn't sell it, so he was an obvious goner, and he knew it.
Natalie has just been useless throughout, starting the waterworks and blaming tactics doesn't change it.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
I thought by the standard of some of the previous weeks they were reasonably competent.
Kurt's 2nd big mess-up after the milk-shake, so correct that he should go.
Natalie has played the "everyone's ganging up on me" (usually accompanied by tears) in the past so often. She didn't do anything (again) so about right that she went.
Not sure that Myles did much wrong - he remains one of the favourites from me.
Neil Clough had a good week...
Jordan looked out of his depth on this one, so I would say him and Alex are likely to be fired soon.
Jason selling the big item and his entertainment value will see him get through his first boardroom challenge (whenever that is) IMO.

Re: The Apprentice Thread (SPOILERS)
Kurt and Natalie both deserved to go. I can't stand Alex, he's a flat-track bully, Welsh, and seriously ugly, with bad hair. Myles is a sleaze who couldn't sell ice to eskimos judging on his performance so far. Leah is a total biatch, she was the reason they lost both items. Jason is a court jester, I loved it when he pulled that old lady
Neil thinks he's God's gift to everything, I can't stand him either. If I'd have been on this year's show I'd have chinned him long ago.
