First topic message reminder :

I don't know too much about Gonzalez, but think Burns should be good for a pts victory in this one. What do you guys think?

Also, if this guy is mandatory, why was Frank Warren trying to feed us Liam Walsh as an opponent?? Oh wait.....

Thought this guy was going to be a crude slugger, but defensively he looks very sharp and pretty cute, burns really struggling to land early

Easy Gonzales round and his jab looks very good

Gonzo looks pretty decent. What's a British "world champ" doing fighting someone decent?

Another good Gonzales round, Burns needs to relax a little

The thing is that Miguel Vasquez fights exactly like this but is even better, so lets see how Burns can adapt

Burns is just coming in straight lines and is open to the counters. Nelson needs to get him to find angles.

I've got it 3-0 Gonzales, Burns isnt landing despite the crowd going wild

Gonzales jab is winning this and he's setting up traps for burns and Burns is biting

I bet Hearn is regretting signing him now. Poor Rocky, left the safety of Warren's safe fights and getting burned.

Think he might take him out here... Around 8.

Burns out of range and looking a little slappy with the right hand.

Burns felt his power in that round

Burns needs to either bob his way in and unload with everything which isn't his type or make it scrappy like Guerrero-Berto and neutralise Gonzales speed and long limbs

Another Gonzalez round.

Nelson isn't giving any advice, what's the point of saying don't let him get in to a rhythm? This guys rhythm is so good the crowd of grooving to it.

Fair play to Burns he took some huge shots that round and even wobbled Gonzalez once or twice. Still gave it to Gonzalez though.

Burns only seemed to trouble him when fighting during the exchange, which carries massive risks.

When they were taking turns to punch, Gonzalez bossed it hugely.

7-1 to Gonzales

First burns round, Gonzales took a breather there but Burns looked strong given what transpired through the 7th

I have it 7-2, so burns needs a couple Kd's or a KO

Could happen as Gonzales looks spent whereas Burns looks reasonably fresh
