There's the deal.

Falcao to Chelsea for Lukaku and Courtois on loan to Atletico + £40m.

Think Atletico would want Courtois permanantly in that deal

Courtois permanently + Torres on loan for two years + £25m = Falcao

I think they'd accept that deal.

The answer is no. Points wise yes, record total for Spurs and 3 more than last season, but as they've improved but not improved enough, no.

No they've had a bad season surely CL was their target they didn't get it. They relied on Bale to have his best season and they still didn't make it due to the consequences of selling their best players, Campbell/Carrick/Berba/VDV/Modric etc

I agree. I think AVB has failed to some extent. He's had Bale in the form of his life, and still not achieved Top 4.

I don't get the whole points total thing. At the end of the day it's the position you end up what matters

Which of the Azzy loans were reversed? I need to update the players in the league list from the Transfer Confirmation page

But points/wins etc is the best way to compare seasons. AVB > Harry because he won more points in his first season. Unfortunately for Spurs, Chelsea improved massively and went from 6th to 3rd, bypassing them.

Spurs have not had a successful season. They finished 5th, and face another season of Europa League football as a result. Furthermore, they had almost nailed 3rd place, and threw it and 4th place away with a terrible run of form late in the season.

They failed to win a trophy, and lost to a massively inferior team in the Europa League QFs. AVB has been proven to be unimaginative tactically, and had it not been for Bale, they'd probably have finished 7th below Liverpool.

The squad has some ridiculously overpaid/under-performing players, such as Gallas, Gomes (still), Friedel, Assou-Ekotto, Huddlestone, Dempsey, Sigurdsson, Defoe and Adebayor. They need to clear the dead wood out and sign 3-4 quality players. But I don't think they have the clout to do so, unlike Arsenal.

By the way Nando, Spurs didn't sell Campbell, he left on a Bosman

Kroos, Wilshere and Fellaini. Huntelaar stayed on loan because his 3rd game is this season still.

You know what i meant doofus You can't afford to let your best players leave free or big money which Modric/VDV weren't if you want to progress

Am I the only one who thinks Modric is the biggest waste of money ever? He doesn't do anything, can't tackle, has limited passing, give me £15m Carrick over £35m Modric every time. Heck, give me Scholes over Modric, even now.

Google "Falcao" and you can find links to Chelsea, Citeh, Monaco, PSG...I'd love him to sign for United, that would irritate the others no end.

Would be amusing that, What surprises me that being Columbian he doesn't do well at International Level and to be honest they really should do better with the players they have.

I heard that because it would cause uproar if he went across the city directly, it's likely to be;

This summer: Atletico Madrid to Monaco for £50m
Next summer: Monaco to Real Madrid for a similar fee.
