Thoughts on some of the things said:
Mario Gomez for me is possibly the best finisher in the world. Cannot see how he's over-rated, one of my favourite players. And Blaszczkowski was under-rated, now he's a bit over-rated. He's a decent player but he's not top class.

Wilfried Zaha is a good prospect, but he's impossible to judge on here because we've never seen him play anything higher than Championship level (and I don't watch Championship football Laugh) so I don't think you can call him useless, however he's not someone you'd rate high enough to give a team a victory

Last season Gomez was in incredible form and would have been sought after by any club in Europe.

This season he has not had a look in, but despite that, his goals record is still impressive.

His TM value overrates him massively mind.

When you consider he's had more goals than starts this season, both domestically and in Europe, that's pretty good. And I'd happily pay £31m for him if the TP limit was that high.

Looking at who's survived from the squad I re-inherited.

Palop, Suarez, Vertonghen, Niang and Flamini are the 5 left standing I think

Begovic, Matheiu, Gnabry and Parker remain for me OK

Two U21s who have little value, a decent goalkeeper and a left back I bought in the draft

My best transfer was probably Rio for 3.1m

Worst was probably giving you Bender and Jags for Strootman and Puyol.

Must've been high that day. Turned Strootman into Carrick to salvage it somewhat.

And yeah Bender/Jags was a great coup, sold Jags a couple of days later for just over £11m too Smile

Still, I don't think CF paying 5m for Hitzlsperger will ever be topped.

'How much do you want for Hitzlsperger?'

'I have a lawyer of about 1.5m'

'5m?'

West Ham have a friendly against Great Ormond Street Hospital on Friday.

The Moose had some crazy stats this morning - since Arsenal last won a trophy, all 91 other league clubs have changed their manager, and since Wenger was appointed in 1996, those 91 clubs have had 838 managers Shocked

RVP was a great buy but for that price, he did what he was bought to do.

Id have to go with Michu or Bentekkers. Hard to pick, both have contributed a lot for their clubs, Michu being cheaper may edge it for me.

Benteke kept Villa up with all his goals, would Bent have scored as many? I doubt it

Flops - Any of the Newcastle French lads, came with good reputations but failed to deliver, maybe now they have stayed up and had a season behind them it might be different next season

Benteke kept Villa up with all his goals
Thats what make it a bit tricky for me to call. Michu did help his team to silverware as well as good top 10 finish.

Sissoko at Newcastle did ok I though, but yes a lot of them flopped.
Granero was a huge flop for me, he came with a reputation (deserved or not he had one) and did not live up to it in the slightest.
Javi Garcia was a big flop too, had mostly decent to horrendous matches.
Junior Hoilett, looked like he could have a bright future last season, I expected more from him & saw nothing this season.

Gotto laugh at Yun Suk-Young, transfered to QPR in Jan & never made an appearance.

QPR tried to buy PL safety, am glad it didnt work and they were relegated, gonna go the smae way as Leeds/Portsmouth hopefully

deserve everything they get

At least Reading showed confidence in the players that brought them up with a couple of decent buys, just not good enough..

Norwcih/Swansea real success stories, kept the nucleus of there team through out and have done very well

Garcia was crap
