Sounds like another Hillbilly Rockstar wannabe gimmick whose be the 4th member of 3MB - Joe Henning is a perfectly good name!!!

I think Curt Axel may have sounded better, but it is tribute to grandfather and father. Also WWE like to have a name the can copywrite and sell merch off.

I don't think its anywhere near the worst name around.

TBH i've hadn't seen RAW or read the spoiler when i posted the thread, just seen a pic of Joe Henning with "Say Hello to Curtus Axel" above it on another site!!!

Guess the name makes sence but i still think its sounds awful!

I know it’s picky but his name is Hennig not Henning. Makes me think of Henning Berg!

Anyway I like the name Curtis Axel. It’s a classic old school wrestling name. Million times better than Fandango or The Miz!

I reckon they should have gone with a mechanic gimmick and given him the name Axel Grease

I like it due to the homage to his dad/granddad but overall it's not the best name...the worst though? In a world where wrestlers have been called Battle Kat and Max Moon...I don't think it's the worst.

I remember the last guy to have a name paying homage to his father and grandfather.
