Andy Murray has just pulled out through injury Sad

Can't say im surprised, really hope he can be fit for Wimbledon though!

That is a shame but he did look really out of sorts all throughout the clay court season. Looks like it is a two man race between Novak and Nadal for the year end #1.

I would sooner he sat this one out if he has injury worries. Lets face it - he wasn't going to win it anyway so why bother running the risk of making the injury worse?

He should rest and come out hopefully fitter and a real contender for the grass court season where he does have a good chance of success.

I was wrong of course in thinking clay was kinder to the body that H/C or Grass, but we've seen the process of breakdown in Murray that highlights the dangers of having 3 different topsides in a given year. Borg was only good on clay and grass after all.

Dimitrov may be the dark horse at RG, if he gets a decent run in the draw, but its just Nadal, Nadal, Nadal all the way for me. Unless Djokovic can pull a surprise win, but I think not.
