Barcelona midfielder Thiago has agreed to join Manchester City. Terms agreed with player and club. City will announce manager first #MCFC

Jesus Navas has reached an agreement to join Manchester City. The club must now agree a price with Sevilla.

Not 100% sure. Ive heard he started as a forward midfielder but then hes trained & become capable in playing the holding lynchpin.

I remember when Bojan was the next big thing. I'm just a bit wary of players Barcelona are willing to let go, and my assumption is usually that they won't be as good at a different club.

I dunno, he's not really done very much. Technically gifted player but people thought that about Bojan and now he's floundering elsewhere. I'd pay maybe £10m for him.

Yeah, even AC dont want to keep Bojan.

Tiago does have talent ill give him that. Not sure if I want him at Man United though.
£12-14m tops id take him i suppose.

I really want us to sigh Strootman but there been no rumours recently, hope thats not dead & buried.

And I think that it isn't that Barca are looking to offload, it is that his buyout clause dropped to €18m (from €90m) and if he wanted to leave for regular starts, clubs could trigger it.

Well suppose Barca want to keep him to play the Xavi role & Cesc to play the Iniesta role.

The clause was related to the number of games he played in. He had to play something like 30 minutes in two thirds of Barca's league games otherwise the clause dropped.
