The moments of 2012/13

The eventful final between Tigers and Saints will undoubtedly be remembered for the moment Hartley acted the fool, but what were the other memorable moments from 2012/13? What were the big or small moments you’ll remember from that season?

The 2 events for me that really stick out were:
The penalty try for Glaws vs Wuss.
Glaws had been truly awful all game, when up stepped Jonny May and up stepped, quite literally Errie Claasens! The TMO was brought into use resulting in a red card, a penalty try and Glaws winning the match.

Dan Hipkiss sending off against Chiefs
I was at that game for a stag do and that moment of pure comedy genius when the binned Hipkiss tried to delay the throw had us in stitches for some time! Or maybe it was just the 6X that made it funny...

Danny Cipriani
The best sidestep I saw this season. Just a shame it was to avoid making a tackle.

Matt Banahan
The "Call that a tackle...." award for the high stiff arm tackle on Anthony Allen.

Steve Mafi, Tom Croft, Ed Slater, Graham Kitchener
for showing that forwards can have skill too.

Danny Care, Tom Youngs, Manu Tuilagi, Toby Flood
For being damn nice fellows, and bringing a tear to a father's eye.

He should be banned for life for that. It goes against the laws of nature that a prop can score a try like that. Props should score no more than 3 tries in their career and all should be finished from 2 inches out with a belly flop across the line.
