Re: Your sides season high's and low's
I thought you'd have worked out when to use there/their from Hibbz's lesson yesterday Nick!
Joking aside, mine are;
High Point - Taking 26 points out of 30 in the last ten games to overhaul Spurs
Low Point - Bradford away Carling Cup Quarters
Best Game - 1 - 1 draw away to Man City at the start of the season. Both teams played some excellent technical football that day. Best result was smashing Spurs at the Emirates 5 - 2 again.
Star man - Been some solid performers like Mikel Arteta and Per Mertersacker, but Cazorla's added some magic to the team.
Best Goal - Lukas Podolski's volley against Montpellier
Season Review out of 10 - 6

Re: Your sides season high's and low's
High Point-Getting our highest Premier League finish/most Premier league points.
Low Point-Losing 4-0 to Norwich. Olly won't let me forget that in a hurry.
Best game-Excitement would be the 5-5 with United at the end of season. As a whole, winning 3-0 away at Southampton. Beautiful day, Wolves pretty much went down and Albion won.
Star Man-Romelu Lukaku, been great to watch a £20 million striker at the Hawthorns.
Best goal-Gera opening day vs Liverpool
Season review out of 10- 9

Re: Your sides season high's and low's
High Points - Frank Lampard getting given a new contract. Finishing third and winning the Europa League too
Low Point - Losing Di Matteo as our manager, even though to be fair to Benitez he did a ok job.
Best Game - 2-2 Against Juventus, i could of chosen quite a few games for this.
Star Men - Frank Lampard, Juan Mata and Eden Hazard.
Best Goal - Frank Lampard against Aston Villa when he scored 2 to get to 203 goals overall for Chelsea.
Season Review out of 10 - 9/10
Special mention to Ramires also for having another fantastic season.

Re: Your sides season high's and low's
High Point: The win against Newcastle, without Suarez many felt we'd flop, answered the critics.
Low point: Oldham loss
Best Game: Liverpool 3-2 Tottenham
Star men: Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson in that order
Best Goal: Luis Suarez against Newcastle, genuinely world class goal, only a handful of players in the world could have done it.
Season Review out of 10: 6/10. Disappointing in all the cup competitions, inconsistent in the league and another Suarez controversy. Good end to the season though.

Re: Your sides season high's and low's
HIGH POINTS- the signing of Benteke. Top draw.
3-1 win at Anfield.
Lowtons wonder goal against Stoke.
6-1 hammering of Sunderland.
Lowton becoming a real prospect for the future.
winning the nextgen cup(players hopefully for the future).
LOW POINTS - losing Dunne for the season.
8-0 thumping at Stamford Brige.
Our CC1 semi final exit to Bradford
cup defeat to millwall 3 days later
being in a relegation battle for most of the season.
conceding the amout of goals we did.
Benteke not getting to 20 league goals

Re: Your sides season high's and low's
High Point - Obviously the 10 match unbeaten run, but more specifically the 1-0 wins over Utd and Arsenal were just amazing wins. The Utd one is one I will remember for many years to come.
Low Point - The 1-0 losses away at Wigan and Stoke, and the 2-1 loss at home to Villa. The first two because we were non league standard, and the last one because well you know. That was the first time I thought we genuinely might go down.
Best Game - The obvious ones are up there, but another couple would be the draw away at Spurs earlier in the season, and the win away at Man City final game of the season.
Star Men - Robert Snodgrass and Sebastien Bassong. Literally carried our attack and defence respectively. Also shoutouts to Turner, and Bunn who did an admirable job as backup to Ruddy.
Best Goal - Jonny Howson's on the final day, and Pilkington's header against Utd, because it was such a brilliant header.
Season Review out of 10 - 8/10 - Ultimately the goal to stay up was achieved, however we need much more consistent performances, rather than showing flashes. Hughton also needs to show more intent in games, especially away ones against teams around us. But the future is very very bright for Norwich City

Re: Your sides season high's and low's
As a Man Utd fan:
High Point: Winning the title and taking it back off the noisy neighbours.
Low point: SAF calling it a day.
Best game: Going to go for the win early in the season at Chelsea, pivotal moment in that Chelsea were flying at the time and it derailed them.
Star men: Carrick had his best ever season at Utd, Ferdinand looked back to his dominant best and RVP was a talisman up front but for me it was 2 of the next gen guys in Rafael and De Gea who came on immensely as the season progressed.
Best goal: RVP's 2nd v Aston Villa to seal the title. Beauty of a goal.
Season Review: The ultimate highs and lows of football experienced in a few weeks. Clinching the record breaking 20th title to be followed by Fergie deciding to call it a day. The season ahead will be interesting indeed.

Re: Your sides season high's and low's
High point: There wasn't one that really got me excited but our goals tally was a plus.
Low point. The FA Cup defeat at Oldham. Embarrassing.
Best game: The 3-2 win at West Ham was an excellent match if I remember correctly.
Star man: The enigma.
Best goal. Suarez against Newcastle .
Season Review. Crap in the cups but we finished around about where I expected us to so 6.5/10.

Re: Your sides season high's and low's
High Point: Stability and smashing Chelsea
Low Point: Away form, ignoring the cups and the misconceptions. And saying bye to Carlton F***ing Cole
Best Game: Probably the 3-1 against Chelsea, although the 2-2 with Man United was brilliant.
Star Men: Reid, Diame, Noble and Carroll.
Best Goal: Diame's against Man United or Maiga's against Southampton
Season Review: With Carroll fit more we would have pushed for 8th, and as a promoted side to get top ten I am chuffed. Never fell into the fight at the bottom either, things would be looking up if we werent so good at imploding when the going looks good
