NZ not televising the Lions v Baba's
Well done SKY NZ for your tunneled vision in not showing this match! It is a puzzling decision but should not be surprised. Thankfully I shall be able to stream it on my pc rather than watch it on a 60" screen.

60 " inch screen?! Do you live in an Imax?
Just stream it and hook your PC up to the TV.

You didn't miss much guys.
One way traffic from the Lions, the Baa Baas barely touched the ball and when they did; they dropped it.
8 tries to 1.
59-8.

Baa baa's were the best I have ever seen them, never seen such an entertaining game considering it was 1 sided, you missed what might be the game of the centrury

Re: NZ not televising the Lions v Baba's
So the waste of time thread is probably right or?
I think its good to get them on the field together regardless. The usual problem with Lions tours is they seem to have a very good record up to any first test and then the wheels start falling off. In NZ they barely lose matches pre test, then its all downhill from there.
This tour will only be remembered for three matches and the result of that. The other matches must in some way be BEST used to contribute to the best possible result of those 3 matches. So in terms of a start, good to get a run, a win, provided its in context with the overall plan- winning the series.

Ye kinda, best possible scenarios were big win, and no injuries

Yes unlike our last round of sxv- Bird and Weepu look out for us as options, Read took a knock and Higginbotham who is playing out of his skin at the moment shouldered off. He hopes to be right apparently.

Bird?
Baird?
Gutted to hear about Higgs, Aus just can't catch a break at the minute, they will be so glad Genia is officially in his cotton wool bed until June 22nd

Dominic bird and Jeremy Thrush were/are our back up locks with Ali and Whitelock out. I think you'll see both Cooper and Beale back in so its not all bad for Oz. Both played well yesterday in their respective outings and both have separate missions to make the side for different 'estranged' reasons. Redemption for both can only come via good Wallaby performances.

Been watching mostly Aus super rugby this year and only really seen kiwi teams when facing Aus teams, so a number of kiwi and SA performers have eluded me.
Thought you were talking about Baird though, he was immense this morning and didn't think he went off injured
