Ive been trying to find out as well. I had a quick look at flights and accommodation. It actually looked almost feasible. Having recently bought a house I really shouldn't but it would be fantastic to see mayweather fight in person before he retires.

Re: Mayweather vs Canelo tickets?
I've posted this before:
I went to Mayweather vs. Ortiz. Very easy to get tickets surprisingly, Mayweather fights don't seem to sell out (although this one will due to the Mexican interest).
Best way is to be in Vegas on fight week, MGM usually hold back the upper seats to people who want to queue for tickets. (NB. There was no queue, literally just strolled up to their box office)
Otherwise, check Golden Boy's website- these will probably sell out in less than 2 hours on ticketmaster. Go for the more expensive tickets to stand a chance of not missing out. Cheapest tickets are usually $60-$80 each.
Note: In the past only people who had a US address could purchase tickets on ticketmaster for a US promotion. Therefore, I suggest you use a hotel in Vegas as your home address to sign up to get tickets.
However, from my experience, MGM has plenty available at their gates during fight week.

Like all events there will be ticket touts selling over priced tickets. But if you cannot get a ticket the conventional way why not fly to vegas and get one from a tout if you really want to see the fight.

People tend to buy around ten tickets in the uk at £80 each.....then ebay them for £150 each. Pisses me off. Paid £150 for two tickets (Froch vs Bute) and they had face values of £40 each when they arrived. Great seats mind but its clearly not the bloody point.

It's time something was done about ticket touting. It's done my head in for years with festivals and gigs too. The authorities seem to only do something about it when they please. I.e. it was a lot more difficult for the touts during the Olympics

I don't think companies really care. The touts buy the tickets at asking price so the companies are selling tickets and making money.
