I will go with whichever console has the sports games. I heard something about EA and Xbox going exclusive? Not from a proper source, was a mate, but still.

PS4 would allow me to watch NFL games from my gamepass on my big telly though. That would help.

NFL has a massive deal with XBOX to do something but FIFA and Madden etc won't be exclusive.

I heard that fifa 14 is gna be playable online free as ea are removing the online pass you need to buy to play onlne.

EA say they are removing the pass but you see thats cause they will receive the money from the second hand fees.

Nadz means EA are removing the Season Ticket. Apparently it didnt get the sales they expected so EA decided to drop it. They will just think of another way to get money out of us.

EA for some stupid reason have Drake promoting FIFA 14.
I understand getting Aaron Paul for Need for Speed as on Breaking Bad hes playing it & usually playing racing games when you see brief moments of it + he could be being lined up for the film but Drake, FIFA 14?!?!
Why get a Canadian who probably know nothing about football, to promote a football game?

Microsoft went for the gimmicks of voice control, running multiple apps with instantaneous switching, motion control & so on.
Sony have gone for gaming, one of their top guys did say first & foremost it is a games console. Seems like Microsoft trying to roll too much into one thing have forgotten that. Their exclusive deals mainly offer a bit of DLC content or first grabs, nothing major now.

Anyway, with a price of £349 Im actually going to pre order the PS4 & get it on launch day.

There is no way the price will rise i think they said back in Feb that the prices would stay the same.

Soddy, currently EggBox One games are listed at £90. It will probably drop though.

PSX > PS2 > Wii > 360

I guess I'll go back to the PS4 if it's cheaper. That was the only reason I bought the Xbox after all. I had always been a Sony guy.

So yes, I am a Nintendo fan boy at heart. Dont have the Wii U tho, probs wont get it as my Wii is only used for Wii Fit (The Mrs) & Netflix in the bedroom.

Sony have Playstation + which give free games away. UK subs get 3 AAA rated titles per month, apparently that much better than US subs.

Xbox have the American market though, if it wasn't for that they would struggle. Even though they dominate the American market they are still behind Sony in overall worldwide sales for Xbox vs PS3.

I'm not defending Microsoft, just never noticed before.

Sales aren't the be all and end all though. Wii blows both out the water on sales. I think I'd have to edge the 360 ahead of the PS3, just for Microsoft grabbing the initiative.

Tbf tho Bill gates has enough money to keep throwing it at Xbox project but sales are a big thing for these companies mate. They strive to dominate the games market, if they didnt care then they would do a Nintendo & target a different market.

Wii was released early, sales were going to fly + the Jap market love Nintendo like Cherries loves Swag. There will be a big dip in Wii sales now though.
