Still need a couple of pretend managers for the other league, Viva if you're about again put your name down, it's Fiorentina and Anzhi Makapaka that are available, both sides run previously by Sod and Trebs so aren't ripped to shreds and it only takes a short while each week to do.

In addition to Hero's post, we have End of Season Lawyers next week and the week after, plus end of season bonuses to give out - so whichever team you take on, they'll have money to spend in spades, and the TP limit is going from £14.5m to £20m, meaning lots of good players out there

Thanks for the offer Hero but at the moment I'm happy being the chief of network director. I'll be back one day running my own team but at the moment I'm happy in my new role.
Azzy you play cricket? Bowler or batsman?

Hero - this new styling is ruining me.
I cannot send any PMs at all because as soon as I go to a new PM, or reply my machine appears to be trying to download stuff and it freezes up.
Given the amount this league uses PMs, it is going to make life very difficult and therefore consider this my official opposition to it

Re: Euro Division Homepage LX
I'm a batsman, I like handling large pieces of wood.
I'm a bit of both really, I can bat, I can bowl medium pace or off spin, keep wicket, field in slips or up close, anything really. I'm more of a slogger when batting, I don't have the patience to block 10 balls before scoring, I like to hit the ball and hit it far. My medium pace may even be medium-fast, if I get my run-up right (1 in 3/4 I cork it up) then I can generate good pace, bounce and movement. My off-spin I only really break out when I'm knackered from steaming in, but I can turn a ball an okay amount.

A MAN dialled 999 to complain to police that a prostitute was UGLY after meeting her outside a hotel.
The caller told West Midlands Police he wanted "to report her for breaching the Sale of Goods Act".
But an officer in the call centre at Solihull, Birmingham, responded by telling the man the woman had not committed any offences and explained to him that soliciting for sex was illegal.
The force has now sent the man a letter warning him about wasting police time.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “A 999 call was received by police at around 7:30pm on Tuesday evening from a man wishing to complain about a sex worker he had met on a hotel car park.
“The caller claimed that the woman had made out she was better looking than she actually was and he wished to report her for breaching the Sale of Goods Act.

West Midlands, Solihull. It's obvious its Azzy.
Azzy do you remember back on the old 606 you an Smartest gooner were going to meet up for a fight and you gave him a fake address. How embarrassing imagine if the real world knew that grown men on pretend manager games met up to fight or out of protest change thier team to an overs 33 side.
Re: Euro Division Homepage LX
Viva I haven't lived in Solihull since 2000
And I don't remember that, no. I remember giving someone my address to send me a cheque, which never arrived. I'd fight Smarts any time, any place. Upton Park, you name it. In fact, I've got a cricket match tomorrow in Greenwich Park at 1630, tell him to come down then and I'll wipe the smarts out of him.

The man is wrong anyhow, it wouldn't be the sale of goods because he wasn't purchasing the woman. It was a sale of services.
It makes me wonder whether his specification was water tight. Did he account for liquidated damages? What we're the KPIs she needed to meet?

You know, one thing I've often thought but never raised; why are they called 'lawyers' offers?
Who named them?
Why would a lawyer make an offer for a player?

Re: Euro Division Homepage LX
I believe it was AVFC (The guy who made the first realistic league) who coined the term of 'lawyers' because we had a problem getting players out of the PL. They were sold to foreign clubs to replace the stars who came in through foreign transfers.
As for it being named a 'lawyers' offer, it was because your lawyers were trying to offload the player to the foreign club. The lawyer was the opposite of a scout, if you like. The offers were always non-negotiable because you were negotiating with lawyers.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LX
Maybe we should rename them 'agents offers', so we can pretend the player's agent had struck up an agreement with another club for that price?
