Soddy love the Tebow pic, although I cannot recognise the place where it was taken. Thought it was by Anglia Square at first, but I don't think it is now I really look at it

Morning folks.

If you were to bet upon the last four of the World Cup what you go for right now (on the basis that the top teams avoid another until that point).

Top Goalscorer.
Cant go wrong, best way to make monies if you do them e/w too.
Ive win or got e/w come in at the last two WC & last 2 Euros. So far my 8/1 Suarez top gs in the con fed cup looks ok, 1 game 1 goal.

EDIT: Ive also had winners with RVP for the last two prem seasons & rooney e/w in 2011/12.

In tournys a players needs at least 4 goals & that should see you paid each way.
Sneijder was 100/1 in 2010 & got 5 goals but didnt get the golden boot because Thomas Mueller had 5 goals with 3 assist. I was very annoyed due to the odds I got on Sneijde, but the e/w paid 1/4 of the odds anyway.

Brazil, Uruguay, Germany, Spain.

Just to mix it up. Spain dazzled a Brazilian crowd the other day with their football. They players they have at their disposal, players that will step up by the time the tourney comes round will only strengthen them.

I think theres a good player to be developed there, but then again, theres a fair bit of hype simply because hes a ball player from Barcas youth setup.

I like what I've seen of Thiago but he is nowhere near worth £19.5 million. Looks more Joe Allen than Xavi as well in his style of passing

FC Brust Sauger 0-0 UC Supremazia

Both teams look like they'd cancel each other out really, with a lot of congestion in the middle of park, and 2 strikers that look like they'd be easily handled by the CB partnerships. Both teams carve out chances via the wings, but nobody able to take advantage of them.

FC ElphickforJustice 0-1 FC Respek your Elders

Cherries has altered his formation to include all 3 strikers, and I'm really not sure it would work. Even against Azzys suspect trio. Seems like they'd just keep tripping over each other. Leaves his midfield duo woefully exposed against the trio of Pirlo, Xavi and Lampard to boot with none of the 3 inclined to drop back. Cherries could've taken this handily given both squads, but as it is Respek have a far better tactical setup and take a deserved win.

Bratwurst Mannschaft vs VFL Bassender

Injuries may have limited Olly today but hes missed a clear trick with Reus central rather than opposite Coentrao, who with the lack of a winger to deal with, could bomb on. That said, his ultra defensive approach pays off for most of the match but not quite as Bassender unlock the door eventually. Olly could've won this, but the wrong approach adopted

----------------------------------------

FC Brust Sauger 0-1 UC Supremazia
(Damiao)
Two good sides however I feel the unpredictability of Supremazia's front four earns them the win, Sanchez hasn't cut it for Barca IRL this season so i'm hesitant to say he'd get the better of Rafael (slightly out of position) at left back. Podolski is isolated by this, Damiao has plenty of supply and makes the most of it.

ElphickforJustice 3-3 Respek your Elders
(Wilshire, Torres, Bony) (Di Natale, Lampard, Pirlo)
If either side were playing against a "normal" formation they'd probably lose, but with both so attack minded it works. Styles make fights and all that. With Pirlo and Xavi together in midfield I see Respek dominating possession, but the front three of E4J hurts the Respek back three. I can't separate the sides, even if the goals flow.

Bratwurst Mannschaft 2-3 VFL Bassender
(Mandzukic, Negredo) (Ibrahimovic, Schurrle, Pastore)
Bassender very strong going forward, the back five of Mannschaft limits them though. Reus behind Mandzukic and Negredo with the wingbacks getting crosses in, but the problem is any time the wingbacks get forward Bassender counter attack with their beastly wingers and hurt them. If the wingers stay back the strikers look like they could be isolated. High scoring game but Bassender edge it for me.

------------------------------------------

FC Brust Sauger 1-2 UC Supremazia - A very close game but the wingers of Supremazia just edge it for them.

Bratwurst Mannschaft 0-1 VFL Bassender - A good effort from Olly's side but Trebs side has too much attacking talent to hold out against, Reus as a AM is a no-no, Olly would of been better off play Shaqiri one side Reus the other and an AM

FC ElphickforJustice 2-0 FC Respek your Elders - It's a sad day in the league when Cherries is being voted to win surprisingly it's not down to Azzy's side it that he's been smart for once and played 3 pacy forwards against a aging backline with Aubameyang being the pick of the scorers, Azzy needs to play 4 at the back or his old players will get left for dead on a weekly basis over a running race. It's usain bolt vs the fat guy from Samoa all over again

--------------------------------------------

Brust Sauger vs Supremazia
1-2

A very tight game between two of the best sides in the championship but I must vote down Brust on the essay that was the tactics, I don't want a limit to be set but they were far too long. Supremazia could do with playing luiz at DCM and bringing in another cb

Elphick 0 - Elders 1
Somehow azzy's toys out the pram is working although it is also a case of elphick needing a plethora of fresh blood into the team as although they have hummels and wilshere they now need to bring the team up to that level. Respek should probably go sign john terry to finish off their back 3

Manschaft vs Bad sender
1-3

A match of trebs past and present and the difference is clear, bassender are my pick to won the championship and they showed it today

--------------------------------------

FC Brust Sauger 1-0 UC Supremazia

Tough one to call in reality because both teams have their strengths and weaknesses. Overall I can see more chance of Brust Sauger keeping UCS at bay and having just enough creative nous to snatch a win.

FC ElphickforJustice 2-2 FC Respek your Elders

On paper cherries has the better side, but it’s close. The midfield battle will be fascinating and I back Azzy’s (old) men to come out on top. They have clinical finishers to put chances away and I can see them getting a couple. However I am not sold on the defensive unit that will be very occupied against three front men. I think cherries side pinches a draw in this one.

Bratwurst Mannschaft 2-1 VFL Bassender

Narrow win for BM who have quality throughout their side. Bassender were unfortunate with their injuries, but they played an unexpected formation and style and I can see them winning the first half until BM get acclimated to the fact they aren’t pumping the ball up.

--------------------------------------

NO BONUSES ARE TO BE ADDED UNTIL WE GET THE PL RESULTS.

Depends what Nasri you buy into.

The one that spent the best part of 2 years at City doing little, or the one that finally showed some form towards the end of the season.

What's everyones thoughts on Thiago btw? Really can't make my mind up on if I want him at Utd.

Not for the price thats is being quoted. Its clear to see hes good, there is talent & he can become better but I just cant see him as Carrick's central partner. Also not fully sure if he would be suited to them Prem but that probably spawns from not seeing him in a regular position or even knowing what his ideal/prefered position is.

I would much prefer Strootman or Cesc. The former being a real possibility & the latter being ideal as he is a proven Prem midfielder but he is an Arsenal boy who genuinely seems like he wouldn't go anywhere else in the Prem other than back to Arsenal so that cast a shadow over the likelihood of acquiring his services.
