I don't think Saracens played fair by him. He's known as a 10/12/15 but they insisted on playing him as a 13. Having said that, and I speak as an admirer and supporter of Gav, the reason he went to Sarries was to be near his children. That doesn't now seem to be the case - I think it's a bit easier to travel from Swansea to London than Toulon to London!

It's incredibly bizarre - I suppose the Sarries move was only supposedd to be short-term, but I didn't think it would be as short-term as a couple of games!

I think this proves that Henson was looking for any reason to get out of his Osprey's contract and played the family card to garner some support. He has proven that being near his family wasn't top off his agenda, for one reason or another he just wanted out of the Liberty!

It's a decent point, something had very clearly gone wrong at Ospreys with regards to relations between him and the coaching staff.

Did he stay long?

I heard Phil Vickery is now at Toulon as well, can this be confirmed?
