Welsh second row Shaun Jones

Any of you guys have any info on him? He's just signed with us at Carnegie having played most of his rugby at Llandovery in the Welsh Premiership.

I thought you were referring to AW Jones as he is getting thin on top.

He hasn't pushed on to play for Scarlets in four years so I would be surprised to see him be a brilliant signing.

Maybe the change of club will do him good. I think he is still quite a young player.

He's 23 by all accounts so may still be time to develop. Maybe being in a thoroughly professional environment will spur him. Clutching at straws a bit here. Thanks for responding.

Did you rate him when he was at Leeds? He will struggle for gametime now with our young locks coming through.

Didn't particularly inspire but he played 60 odd times for us over about 3 senior seasons so must have had something about him as far as the coaches were concerned. May just have been the least bad option. He was OK but we need better than that. Don't think he lived up to his academy days expectations.
