Off to bed, no further comment to make on that snore-fest except to say that Mayweather should sign to fight Manny IMMEDIATELY

Kinda puts to bed that argument that Pacquiao is not a big puncher.

To be honest D4, Mosley has said it but that whole interview does not sound like Mosley speaking in the slightest.

I've never really heard him swear, let alone use language i'm more accustomed to hearing any Mayweather use.

Still think he's trying to use it as a smokescreen for not engaging from the first bell onwards (and he wasn't active in the first 2 rounds) and just running with his cheque. Not quite sure how he thinks Manny hit him harder than Forrest did as he was nearly out cold in that fight.....

For instance, Hatton has said he was a finished version by the time he fought Manny etc etc etc

All i'm saying is boxers will try and cover themselves and a pfish-poor showing by maybe exagerrating reasons why they were so rudey poo etc.

He didnt look finished to me when he put in a punch perfect display against Malignaggi and was sat on a sofa saying 'same move every time', if i saw Ricky i'd say whats your response to 'same move every time' when it was the 'same move every time' that effectively retired you.

Malignaggi can't punch his way out of a wet paper bag though, figuratively speaking, and as you point out there's a difference between saying 'same move every time' and doing something about it.

Pacquiao vs Mosley looks to have done about 1.4 million in PPV making it one of the biggest PPV fights of all time and the most made by Pacquiao, as well as generating more money than the Mosley vs Mayweather fight.

It is clear by theses PPV figure that Pacquiao is by far the biggest star in boxing.

It will be interesting to see if he can topple Oscar from the top of the PPV tree.

In the absence of any other star in boxing it's obvious that the general public would pay, were it more competitive it would be vastly different.

He is the face of boxing, boxing biggest star, the most popular boxer in the world and a boxing icon.

Would like to see him do those numbers while Hatton, De La Hoya and Mayweather were around

It is pretty amazing because the lighter weights get very little recognition.

The figures have merely confirmed what everyone knew and accepted beforehand. Does not in any way mean this was a valid match up. Most accepted it was a poor match up beforehand and the fight confirmed this when it took place. Struggle to see what the PPV figures chance apart from confirming what everyone knew and accepted weeks ago.
