Fair play to him, good to see him take charge of a decent football club. Always liked him as a player and i always tipped him to get into management.

Yeah happy with that choice, Better then Robert Page and Chris Morgan, Don't get me wrong to great players when they played for united but Weir has had some top managers to work with example Moyes (spelling) and Walter Smith when he was at Rangers and they would have taught him a lot so will have a lot more confidence in Weir then I do in Morgan and Page.

Page was/still the reserve coach at Port Vale and Morgs bless him only won 2 out of the last 7 matches that he was in charge of so lets hope that Weir can do better.
