Re: Excitement in the Nadal kids camp.
I think Jeremy watched a re-run of Nadal beating Ferrer and suddenly got really angry.lydian wrote:Based on what?

I just love the banality and non-specificity of the statement.
Excitement...due to what, when?
Camp...who? His team, this forum, etc?
Great thread.

Re: Excitement in the Nadal kids camp.
Thanks for your request to me to arrive and police this article. I shall do so immediately.
The comments on the articles, which the exception of one, are longer than the article itself. That should tell you something.
This articles ticks all the boxes of 606 V2 mediocrity:
Blatant wumming/agenda.
Short - should be a comment instead.
Nothing to say really of any interest.
This article is so bad that the author could seriously learn a lot about article writing from Hawkeye. In fact I suggest Hawkeye gets in touch to give the author some tuition at the earliest possible opportunity.
Thanks for drawing my attention to this banal and pointtless article. It's helpful for me to have the opportunity to post to criticise it with this largely pointless comment.

8th favourite for Wimbledon? Seriously? Who are you trying to kid there?
I mean...
Where is Raonic in your list, he could storm that draw?
What about Kohlschreiber? He can play a bit on any surface.
Gasquet, we saw once again at the FO what a mental and physical tower of strength he has been.
I can accept you putting Rafa above Paire, Chardy and Gulbis, as these are tough judgement calls, but to have Rafa below obviously stronger favourites such as Raonic, Kohli and Gasquet is just sheer lunacy.

Sorry HB... the oversight on my part is due to the fact that Nadal camp has got too excited.Henman Bill wrote:Red wrote:He's eigth favourite for Wimbledon behind:

I make Rafa 132nd favourite for Wimby.
And I didn't even know he'd gone camping.

Eventhough my guy lost, I don't begrudge Nadal his success and for the sake of the sport it is great that a talent like Nadal is winning and competing at the top level. The game always needs singular players like a Nadal as a djokovic fan I just hope he lets go of one of these French opens.

Do you think the magic will work every time?
How come Nadal is a favourite ahead of Britans No.2 and World No.215 Jame Ward

Re: Excitement in the Nadal kids camp.
Can Nadal play qualifiers at W as well, so he has the potential to win 10 matches at a slam?
Red would love such a record.

As long as Djokovic can hold a racquet then.
