mr anderson takes shot at wwe
Mr. Anderson took a shot at WWE while cutting a pre-match promo at yesterday's TNA live event in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
As Anderson yelled "Mr.," an audience member yelled, "Kennedy!" He stopped and said, "No, he died in a horrible train wreck — a train wreck that can be seen on USA every Monday night!"
Anderson beat Jeff Jarrett via pinfall in the main event
seems very rich coming from a tna star.

He's spent most of his TNA career taking shots at WWE, although I like his quick thinking there (unless he's been waiting to say it for the last 18 months)

Thats TNA for you, if I was running TNA i'd ban any mention or reference to the WWE, things like 'up North' 'New York' 'Stamford' and 'Conneticat' and also calling guys 'Hall of Famers'
There is so much talent in the indies in America but there is only two main stream players and for TNA to openly promote themselves as the #2 company is borderline moronic

and tna is still rudey poo compared to roh.
if i had a choice to watch tna or roh , id choose roh all day long.
tna have the talent its just being majorally neglected.

What you think of TNA is your bag buddy, this isn't about who is better, its about TNA and there inability to stop promoting WWE

Re: mr anderson takes shot at wwe
while TNA certainly don't discourage it, this and many other from Anderson are probably more to do with his personal grudge, by the sounds of it it was quite spontaneous

Re: mr anderson takes shot at wwe
No doubt it was spontanious but TNA's talent have to be under the impression if they talk about WWE or reference them in anyway they will be in trouble, when people watch iMPACT! they should be told and sold that TNA are the #1 Wrestling promotion and their titles and characters are the best and most prestegious, even if its all BS thats what they should be ramming down our throats

Re: mr anderson takes shot at wwe
fair point, but if you have a man with great success in WWE (say Kurt Angle) then its no bad thing to reference their achievements there and point out that he's moved up to TNA
but the pointless grudges like Andersons need to stop

I wouldn't be against calling them 'a former whatever time World Champion' but the viewer will know what the other guy did in the WWE so there is no need to name drop them on your TV time

They would have no storylines left if they tried that.

I don't think calling raw a trainwreck is exactly saying the WWE is better than TNA.the-gaffer wrote:No doubt it was spontanious but TNA's talent have to be under the impression if they talk about WWE or reference them in anyway they will be in trouble, when people watch iMPACT! they should be told and sold that TNA are the #1 Wrestling promotion and their titles and characters are the best and most prestegious, even if its all BS thats what they should be ramming down our throats

It just comes across as a bitter ex employee though, if Kenderson wants to pish on the WWE then he should be that guy Vince and Co thought he was going to be 4 years ago, thats the ultimate revenge

you've completely nailed it again gaffer....
Think WWF in the early 90's with no Internet you'd be forgiven for thinking WCW didn't exsist. Imagine if Pepsi started mention Coca Cola in an advertising campaign

Re: mr anderson takes shot at wwe
Anderson is clearly very bitter about how his spell at WWE ended. Seemed like a spontaneous reaction and not something pre planned although he has had a pop at WWE and in particular HHH before.

Thats very true, I think the first time I heard WCW mentioned directly in a promo was when X-Pac came back to the WWF and did a shoot on Hogan and Bischoff, I know they die the Huckster, Nacho Man and Billionaire Ted sketches too but Pac's just seemed more real

Re: mr anderson takes shot at wwe
Anderson has been far more critical of Orton than HHH!
He is bitter but with good reason, at the end of the day tho its dusted and he has to let it go

Maybe if Anderson wasnt so sloppy in ring he'd still be with the top promotion. No one to blame but himself. Overated, bitter, second rate 'superstar'.

I still think he'd come crawling back to the WWE tomorrow if they asked him.
He blew his chance to be revealed as McMahon's son, and be pushed beyond his wildest dreams. It'd make me bitter too.

While I wasn't Kennedy's biggest fan I'd hardly call him sloppy, if anything he was more rusty, if the WWE fired everyone Orton accused of being sloppy there would hardly be anyone thereMr H wrote:Maybe if Anderson wasnt so sloppy in ring he'd still be with the top promotion. TNA's roster would look even better though!
Re: mr anderson takes shot at wwe
Anderson doesnt have the ability to take 'the lead' in match. I always find he needs his opponent to dictate the match and he never seems to be the one in control. He's still very green in my eyes and as good as he might be on the mic, i'd go as far as saying that The Miz is better in-ring than Anderson.
Anderson's best fued was with Kurt Angle, but lets face it Kurt Angle could have a 5 star match with a scarecrow.

I'd disagree that he cant take control of matches, I enjoyed his run with Hardy and despite Hardy being the vet and the heel Anderson worked very well in a match he had control of, he is by no means anywhere near the finished article but for me he is head and shoulders above his understudy Miz

Re: mr anderson takes shot at wwe
Interesting. I just cant see it. He still appears a novice to me and i think the fact he hasnt been given a worthy title reign tells its own story. I wouldnt class him as a 'go to guy' for TNA and i dont even think he's that much of a draw. May be a bit harsh but something just isnt there for me, he just hasnt got that 'it' factor.

Re: mr anderson takes shot at wwe
I wouldn't say he is a go to guy either to be fair, he has only been a pro for 5 years and he lost about 2 of those through injury, suspension and being fired, I also think he was destined for an epic title reign before he got injured in 2007 and didnt get to that level again until he went to TNA in 2010, I'd credit him not having a big run with the TNA belt so far with his popularity, he was earmarked to win the Belt as a heel off face RVD at BFG but in typical TNA fashion they messed that up long before BFG
