Re: V2 Boxing Podcast with Hughie Fury
No mention of Angulo-Lara, that fight was a barnstormer and lots of talking points like the cut/swelling and where each go from here. Also Gamboa, think that his poor performance could have come up but oh well
Nice to hear Hughie, a lot less brash than tyson (who isn't though) and sounded a little awkward when taking about the 'Furious 2'. He's a grounded kid and it seemed from his responses that he doesn't really care about Mike Tyson's record

Honestly WHU I haven't seen either of those two fights hence not mentioning them.
I agree with you about the furious 2 comments.

Re: V2 Boxing Podcast with Hughie Fury
Agreed think the Tyson record comment post fight last weekend was hype and nothing more. He's confident he will get there, if the record comes it comes if not then so be it.
Lara vs Angulo was a quality fight by all accounts but like hampo I haven't got round to watching it yet. I said in the prediction game I though Angulo would give him plenty of problems and once again I have been left feeling that Lara is overated by a fair few people. Will make sure I watch it before commenting much further but given the nature of the fight surely Kirkland vs Lara makes sense....assuming Kirkland can sort his head out...self destruct button is still on I think!!

Re: V2 Boxing Podcast with Hughie Fury
Lara-Angulo was a cracker. Lara won basically every round, was so clinical and handed out a bit of a licking, but Angulo caught him hard twice so bought two 10-8 rounds which meant the scoring was actually a lot closer and Angulo might even have nicked it if he picked up the 11th and 12th (Lara looked to be tiring).
One look at Angulo's face versus Lara's though and you knew the right man won.

I don't know how difficult it is with software to transcribe these interviews. On the Ropes Radio transcribes every interview which means they can be read as well as listened to.
