Haye vs Klitschko. Press conference
Press conference for this fight will be live on Sky Sports News in the next 5 mins.
Reports are that Haye is in a bad mood and will throwing some insults in Wlad direction.
Maybe we could get preview of what will happen in Hamburg.

Pretty funny guy, love the brashness and cocky attitude, makes the sport exciting, for me. Good that he does actually back up his words on most occasions too.

I think he is a bit too cocky but have to admit he is good for the sport.

I like Haye. Most boxers have such a difficulty in articulating themselves that they are boring or they end up speaking in repetative cliches (Amir Khan springs to mind). Haye, while he can be annoying with his arrogance and antics, seems quite intelligent and enjoys a good wind up. He comes across much better in person than his quotes suggest. I find his level of self belief astounding.

Got a lot of time for Haye, think he's an exceptional self promoter but the key thing is he believes his own hype. When he says he's gonna knock someone out i genuinely believe he sets out to do it.

Good to see we are unanimous in our support of a quality British fighter, it is refreshing to not see anyone slagging off one of our stars, and adopting the typical British mentality that Haye wins and says he can win, so let's call him arrogant and hope he gets knocked out.
My god what a win and great night for British boxing it will be if he can pull off the upset against Wladimir.

A good point, but we always knew it would be a tough ask, and the crowd reaction when he made valuev wobble was telling.

I don't think it would be an upset, Haye barring a dodgy ref will KO Wlad come July 2nd.

There have certainly been bigger upsets D4, agreed, but I still think that with the physical differences and Wlad's recent form it would be classed as an upset.

Re: Haye vs Klitschko. Press conference
David Haye labelled Wladimir Klitschko "a fraud" at a news conference in Hamburg to promote their world heavyweight unification fight.
Britain's WBA title-holder meets Ukraine's IBF and WBO champion at the Imtech Arena on 2 July.
"I've seen his style and seen what he does in the ring and he's a fraud," said the 30-year-old Haye.
"He wears big shoulderpads in his gown and picks guys who suit him perfectly, but I'm not fooled."
Haye had been due to fight Klitschko in June 2009 but was forced to withdraw with an injury, but the Englishman added that "the boxing gods have decided 2 July is the date I become unified champion".
"I know what he's about. I was watching this guy even when I was a cruiserweight, I believed I could knock him out even then.
"For the first time he's fighting someone who's healthy, he normally picks people who are injured or coming off a long lay-off. I'm a prime athlete in my peak coming off a nice long streak of spectacular victories.
"And I'm used to winning titles abroad - I went to Paris and beat the undisputed cruiserweight champion in Jean Marc Mormeck, I went to Germany and beat a 7ft 2in giant in Nikolay Valuev, who Wladimir and his brother [WBC title-holder Vitali] have been avoding for years.
"I'm someone who's going to mess with him, inside and outside of the ring, inside his head - he's in for a fight."
In a tense exchange, Klitschko, 35, offered his hand to Haye only for it to be refused, and the Ukrainian vowed to teach his rival "a lesson in respect" on 2 July.
"I really respect him, he's a tremendous fighter with an impressive record," said Klitschko. "But I'll make sure I'll prepare accordingly. David Haye is going to be my 50th knockout."
Meanwhile, Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente defended the decision to give his charge top billing during the promotion.
He said: "Wladimir has been a heavyweight champion since 2006, he's The Ring magazine champion, he's the number one, that is why he is is top billing. There are four belts here [Klitschko also owns the fringe IBO strap], and David Haye has one."

Azania - clear off. We don't need your pathetic input, this is about Haye and Klitschko, so why even try and start? Is there anywhere I can petition to have your moderator status revoked, becaused it is an absolute joke to be honest. Sorry if this shouldn't have been said here, but I'm happy to have a PM chat with anyone that cares.

So it is still the case if Wlad pulls out Vitali steps in.

SkyBet:
Haye to win by KO: 6/1
Wlad to win by KO: 4/1
Can't wait for this one. If haye can fight to his strengths early on he can get the stoppage, if he's tentative for too long or allows wlad to get into a jab-cross-clinch rhythm then he'll go the same way as virtually every other klitschko opponent.
Hopefully Haye can do it, can't wait for this one now, it's gonna be huge.

Re: Haye vs Klitschko. Press conference
Surely, surely that can't happen now, I know it'd still be a Haye/Klitschko fight but it'd be a major disappointment after the buildup with Wlad. Does anyone realistically see this happening? The reality of the situation may start to dawn on Wlad after their recent press meetings.
I would be very surprised if he pulled out, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

Re: Haye vs Klitschko. Press conference
Don't forget though that because he's had things his own way for so long, Wlad might start to believe his own hype. He has not had many "live" opponents save maybe Chagaev who in my opinion isn't that great anyway.
We know Wlad can be Ko'd and we know Haye can hit hard. He may not be the heaviest puncher but he is much much faster than most fighters Wlad had faced. Last time he faced someone fast and hard-hitting we know how that ended up: 4 knockdowns and utter humiliation thanks to part-time golfer southpaw Corrie Sanders. Of course Wlad has improved immeasurably since then but it is a really mouthwatering matchup.
As a Brit I am supporting Haye. He is super-confident, backs himself 100% and I honestly believe he can make Wlad look very stupid. Let's enjoy it!
I am getting the beers and a curry in and will be watching this with my mates

I echo your thoughts bounce, except I am hoping against hope to get a ticket to the fight, having already booked our flights and hotel. Should be brilliant, and has the potential to be one of Britain's best ever nights in terms of boxing.
