What a fantastic semi final stage to lead to this great finale to the annual Junior comp.


Wales and England me in the finale of the Six Nations where England's massive and talented pack tore Waes apart exploiting their weakness at scrum. The Welsh lads seem to have improved their scrum massively and tonight took SA to pieces at the scrum.

It is wonderful to see two NH teams in the final, both deservedly so.

How is that a harsh call? He clearly threw his knee in no fewer than 3 times! Deserved yellow. Hope he gets a ton of stick off his team as that was a cracking try they just lost

Neither the Kiwi nor Welsh commentator thought there was anything in it.

TMO decision has had a big impact - not sure about it myself, but I guess the touch judge saw something too.

Surely the Aussie ref would dislike the Welsh more at the moment?

I could see nothing but then I didn't know what they were looking for. Hard one this, but wales606, pretty sure we have 14 men unless I've missed even more?!

Nothing to do with the ref. It was a TMO call, based on a TJ suspicion.

2 knees to the side of the head on Red 7, it's pretty clear to me, he's lucky he only got yellow.

Ref has been excellent, pretty neutral so far so I don't know where that's coming from.

Ridiculously blatant double swing of the knee, the first of which made contact with the player's head. Be disappointed in your team, don't be stupid and blind. We want people to take this sport up.

Never seen that happen before! 

Wales playing well - but still feel England can get back into this. Man down for ten won't make it easy, though.

On Sky Sports it was clearly shown a few times.

Wales looking good in the first half.

Think England number 5 was a bit unlucky, did not look like a knee going in. Thought it was a slip of the foot to be honest.

England will need to play a lott better in the second half. especialy with a man down for 10 minutes.

If it is what you said it should have been red. As I said neither commentator thought it was a penalty.

It's rugby we're playing lads get a grip.

Worse things happen at every ruck, there was nothing in that at all.

Wales been great but it should be 15-10, that call has spoilt the game

Ashley Evans hasn't shown the magic off Amos or Williams - but his defence on the blitz is excellent and he has finished the last 3 Welsh tries will a lot of class

Is he an O's player? He could well have a crack at the O's wing spots

Oh and Wales are well deserving their lead.

I see two options.

1) Shines with Ospreys and pushes Matthew Morgan into obscurity. 
2) His dad takes him to Gloucester.

not everyone is watching on sky sports so we don't all have the same angles. The feed im watching has only just shown it. Yes it was a yellow.

Don't think a yellow is just, and think the try probably should have stood.

But as a Welshman I'll take it.....

If a Welsh player had done it I would say exactly the same, I'm in shock

England didnt have a good first half. They got this far by being clinical and muscular but it is Wales who are playing all the intelligent rugby.

Starting the second half with a points difference like this and missing a player for ten minutes.

England can come back. We need to do a lot more to secure the win. A JWC triumph would do a world of good for the next generation of young Wales players, then we might see England less dominant at that level.

i also thought it was a big naughty of the welsh player to drop his knee on the head of the english would be try scorer.

The guy swung his knee 3 times into the ruck - looks like he actually connected with two different heads during this. It was seen by touch judge - and TMO made the decision. Could have been red, I suppose - though in slow-mo it's hard to tell how much force it's being done with.

The fist replay - at normal speed - looked innocuous. The guy already had his head buried in the ruck and it looked like he was trying to find a footing to drive forward - which he did eventually. It was only in slow motion that it looked bad. 

It was a harsh call, but I could have stomached it if, for instance, the Welsh had had a yellow for the blatant pull down of an England lineout forward in the air that left him on the ground for several phases of play, but was completely ignored by the refereeing team.

Consistency is distinctly lacking in the refereeing at the moment.

He was dire in the 6Ns

But if he carries on like this then he will replace Morgan

He will follow his old man, without a shadow of a doubt, his old man has a massive influence on his game, but, his old man is a turk, but I can see him going to Gloucester, he lives there with his old man doesn't he ?

Wales winning the breakdown against a more phyysical English pack

Hes made contact with possibly 2 Welsh players. I'm stunned so many are ok with this. I remember Heaslip being shown red for a similar offence

Looked like he was trying to drag the ball back with his foot, went in hard with the kick but you see that every game. Scrutinise any ruck for long enough and you'll find something similar.
