What a fantastic semi final stage to lead to this great finale to the annual Junior comp.


Wales and England me in the finale of the Six Nations where England's massive and talented pack tore Waes apart exploiting their weakness at scrum. The Welsh lads seem to have improved their scrum massively and tonight took SA to pieces at the scrum.

It is wonderful to see two NH teams in the final, both deservedly so.

Shocking defence. Nowell has been a danger man all game.

Happy to see the try but he should probs have passed it to make sure. Ended up with an easier kick though

Appalling decision not to allow the first attempt (at least not without going to the TMO). On the replay he was clearly never held.

Unlucky, that was a huge kick, but the margins between success and failure are tiny. Ask Beale.

Now people see how bad Davies is every time Wales are put under pressure.

Maul with no opposition is surely an offside ...???

More confidence in the side now. Amazing what that will do for players

It's only double movement if the ball carrier is held. Which he wasn't, by a very long chalk.

I think he's been OK, lenient on mauling for both sides and easily conned at the scrum but he's been OK

How did that become a maul? I wasn't paying attention.

Davies missed another tackle in the build up to that I'd like to point out. Though a few Wales players are dropping off tackles now.

Bloody hell, Wales have thrown it away - falling off tackles, the defence has gone to pieces

I'm surprised that they are allowing the mauls as they are, but it makes sense. For a while South Africa (I think) looked like they were going to remove the maul entirely by refusing to engage and gaining an instant obstruction.

From the commentary, it sounds like the interpretation has been changed to say you are allowed to set a maul from the LO without contact, but can't reset it.

There's nothing wrong with the ref, he's fine.

The problem is Wales had a certain interpretation in the Argentina game an time and time again their trying the same thing with England and the Welsh boys are just not understand this referee is interpreting it differently.

The Welsh boys are going to lose this simply because they can't be bothered to tackle.

I don't think it's an interpretation thing. England are keeping it at the front until the maul has formed. It's only obstruction if the ball goes to the back before the maul is formed.
