What a fantastic semi final stage to lead to this great finale to the annual Junior comp.
Wales and England me in the finale of the Six Nations where England's massive and talented pack tore Waes apart exploiting their weakness at scrum. The Welsh lads seem to have improved their scrum massively and tonight took SA to pieces at the scrum.
It is wonderful to see two NH teams in the final, both deservedly so.

That should settle it.
What an exceptional 25 minutes from England. 20 points (or 25 if you count the incorrectly disallowed try)

Happy with that win, commiserations Wales, you were the better team for the first 40 by far but once we got momentum the ref started to come over to our side and you couldn't come back into it. Congrats on a thrilling final and some classy looking players for the future

Ref was pretty poor in that second half
Wales completely imploded in that last 30 minutes
No effort in the final 20 until the game was lost. Very poor

Great heart shown by England. They had everything going against them at half time, they fronted up and won it through sheer grit against a BIGGER Welsh pack (commentator called it in the first half).

Well it was England's fourth final, so they were bound to get it eventually.
Inept ref IMO but well done England, excellent comeback. Clifford should be revealed as Junior player of the year now as well.

Job done. Ref was definitely going with momentum - but first you've got to get momentum.
Superb recovery by England - to hold Wales scoreless in the second half is remarkable.

Well I wanted us to go one better than last year, and technically we did by coming 2nd... Some of our players are available next year, if we keep the coaching team we should have another good Wales U20s.

Well, 1st of all a massive congrats to both sides, deserved their place in the finals. Comiserations to Wales, you won the first half easily but were well bested in the second. Outstanding turn round by the lads to rescue it in some style.
Great to have put the SH into the also ran group.

Well done England - big comeback, and well deserved victory.
Wales wasted a golden opportunity there, failed to capitalise when the game seemed to be going all their way, and really fell of the pace in the last 20. Still, well done for making it this far and providing a good final!

Well done England, showing great character to come back from that. Congratulations.
Wales, taught a rugby lesson there in terms of closing out the game (or not). Never a better chance to win the world champs. Pretty poor to capitulate so badly.

Re: Wales vs England Junior World Cup Final 2013.
Basically England tried to play rugby in the first half and Wales played off their mistakes and kept them off balance.
In the second half England used their pack more and Wales got tired very quickly in the last 30 minutes. Wales tackled high, when tired, and their players were brushed off far too often and far too many members of the pack went missing in the contact area.
Best team won over all though, Wales more exciting at using the ball, but England smarter and stronger.

It feels like world cup semi final loss to France again. We will never have a greater chance to win this tournament. An opportunity lost. Our fitness levels clearly not as good as the English. Fair play they deserved victory.

We? I thought Norfolk was in England!?
It's always nice to win things, but it's like when Wales won the 7's World Cup, yeah it's nice to do, but not overly important really. What's important is quite a few of these lads make the break through into senior rugby and go on to play for Wales.
You only have to look at the Welsh team smashed 92-0 by New Zealand two years ago and see how many of them have gone into senior rugby. Basically most of them. The U20 is just an education, there is always next year.
