What a fantastic semi final stage to lead to this great finale to the annual Junior comp.
Wales and England me in the finale of the Six Nations where England's massive and talented pack tore Waes apart exploiting their weakness at scrum. The Welsh lads seem to have improved their scrum massively and tonight took SA to pieces at the scrum.
It is wonderful to see two NH teams in the final, both deservedly so.

It will be the same for Wales I think.
England smashed Wales in the 6 nations, they just bullied us out of the game. I'd be amazed if that didn't happen in the final.

an exciting prospect for us Welsh
That kid needs to be playing regional rugby
Pity he has Liam Williams in front of him - he could really push for a starting place at the O's or Dragons.

I agree the Ospreys could really use someone like that.
I'm not sure the Scarlets will really use him, they had a player just like him called Lee Rees a few seasons ago and they stuck him at Llandovery and left him there.

England Under-20s must be on top form - Henry Slade
By Brent PilnickBBC South West Sport
England Under-20s must be on top form if they are to win the Junior World Cup for the first time by beating Wales on Sunday, says fly-half Henry Slade.
England became the first team ever to prevent New Zealand from reaching the final when theybeat the four-time champions 33-21 on Tuesday.
"They're a really tough team and we've got to be right on the money," Exeter's Slade toldBBC South West Sport.
"We played them in the Six Nations decider in March and that was tough."
England, who beat Wales 28-15 in Colwyn Bay, will face their rivals again in the French town of Vannes on Sunday.
New Zealand won the first four Junior World Cups, beating England in the final on three occasions, and have only ever lost one, to South Africa last year.
And Slade, who made his Premiership debut for Exeter late last season after a spell on dual-registration with hometown Championship club Plymouth Albion, says beating the Kiwis by 12 points is one of the highlights of his fledgling career.
"It didn't feel that convincing, it was closer than the scoreline suggests, in that second half we were defending for our lives really," he said.
"We got an interception try in the first half and that probably took us away from them a bit.
"But credit to our boys' defence, it shows the great team spirit we have in the camp to keep working when our backs were against the wall, especially in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
"That was the first time they haven't reached the final, so it was an awesome effort from our lads considering how good that Kiwi team was.
"It's awesome to have two northern hemisphere teams in the final for the first time."

Finally home last night and an opportunity to watch my HD recorded version of the SA semi final game rather than from a lap top.
Very impressed with Wales defence and set piece.

in the six nations game England forwards battered us but hopefully that won't be the case this time around Sunday . still can't see any out come other then a English win but Wales done extremely well to reach the final . good luck Wales . feels like English forward power against Wales flair like it was a few years ago

Re: Wales vs England Junior World Cup Final 2013.
You are right but our defence has done a lot of of work before this tournament. We are pretty solid. It's defending the line out we have issues with.
That said refereeing inconsistency is an issue in this tournament, certainly in the SA game compared to previous.
Wales are well organised and patient and have pace and skill in the backs. They can deal with England but it will be another very tough game.

Re: Wales vs England Junior World Cup Final 2013.
3 Changes by Wales
New Hooker, which makes sense considering the lineout issues last games
Carwyn Jones returns at lock after being a late withdrawal last game
His replacement moves to 6, I guess to increase the physicality in the backrow
Good changes
Wales: Jordan Williams (Scarlets / Llanelli); Ashley Evans (Ospreys / Bridgend), Steffan Hughes (Scarlets / Llanelli), Jack Dixon (Dragons), Hallam Amos (Dragons / Newport); Sam Davies (Ospreys / Swansea), Rhodri Williams (Scarlets / Llandovery); Gareth Thomas (Scarlets / Carmarthen Quins), Elliot Dee (Dragons / Bedwas), Nicky Thomas (Ospreys / Swansea), Carwyn Jones (Scarlets / Carmarthen), Rhodri Hughes (Ospreys / Swansea), Jack Jones (Ospreys / Rovigo), Ieuan Jones (Dragons / Newport), Ellis Jenkins (capt, Blues / Cardiff).

I guess all the stuff about Wales not selecting players outside of Wales was cowpat. According to his dad Wales asked Moriarty to be in their U18 but he had already agreed to England.

Bugger, looks like he has inherited the best of the Moriarty Bloodline. His options are still open for senior rugby though, where as if he had played for Wales u20s he would be committed to Wales.

Wow serious deja vu. Was this not thrashed out on another thread?
At U18 level Wales are again happy to select players outside wales. Rhys Williams in the Tigers academy was a try scorer for Wales in this seasons FIRA-AER Under 18 tournament
