Greatest ever Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight Champion Qualifier match 8

Well here we are, the final qualifying match (Kid Vicious must be pleased).

The qualifiers from Match 6 are:
Psicosis
Tajiri (what, no Gillberg, this is outrageous!!!!)

The final 'superstars' in the qualifiers are as follows and this is arguably the toughest draw.

Juventud Guerrera - In 1998, Guerrera beat Ultimo Dragon to win the Cruiserweight title on the inaugural edition of Thunder. However, he went on to lose the title to Rey Misterio, Jr. one week later on the following edition of Thunder. At SuperBrawl, Guerrera challenged Chris Jericho for the Cruiserweight Title in a Mask vs Title match, in which Guerrera lost forcing him to unmask. After unmasking Guerrera, Jericho would often berate Guerrera for his hideous looks by referring to him as "Quasi-juice". Later in the year, Guerrera defeated Jericho at Road Wild to capture his second Cruiserweight Championship. He retained the belt at Fall Brawl against Silver King, before losing it to Billy Kidman the following night on Nitro.

Brad Armstrong - The last Cruiserweight champion before a four year hiatus, Armstrong vacated the title due to a knee injury. On July 5, 1992, Armstrong won the by defeating Scotty Flamingo. He returned weeks later, and remained with the company until early 1995. He returned to WCW in 1996 and left in 2000, again as a result of a knee injury. He was employed by the WWE from 2006-2012 acting as a trainer to younger employees until his death due to 'medical distress'.

Chris Jericho - Jericho is a four time Cruiserweight champion, his other accolades include being the first ever WWE 'undisputed champion' and the fourth WWE grand slam winner (Eddie Guerrero achieved this too you know). Jericho is still plying his trade in the 'E' and sadly has become somewhat of a glorified jobber to 'superstars' needing a push.

Lt. Loco/Chavo Guerrero - Eddie Guerrero's (KV says he's going to win) nephew. Made his debt in New Japan Pro Wrestling before moving on to WCW in 1996. Chavo won his first Cruiserweight title in a triple threat match in 2000. He's been a member of many stables including the Latino World Order, Misfits in action and the Alliance. Now works in TNA.

Chris Candido - A relative newcomer to WCW, Chris Candido - formerly known as Skip in WWE - made his presence felt went he bested The Artist, Crowbar, Shannon Moore, Juventud Guerrera and Lash LeRoux in a six-way match for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship at Spring Stampede 2000.

Billy Kidman - The last of the wrestlers in the qualifying rounds is Kidman. His career started in WCW with a heroin addict gimmick, his finishing manoeuvre being 'the seven year itch' in reference to his addiction. Kidman finally dropped this gimmick becoming a babyface and winning his first Cruiserweight title by beating Juventud Guerrera in 1998.

Over to you once again, tomorrow brings us to the next round, the last 16.
