Cherries, did you play a trial match when joining the league? Kinda like a tester so they can judge what Division to put the team in.
When we join our 7 a side league we player terrible on purpose, started in Div 4 & just run away with it lol. It was a nice confidence booster + it helped players stay interested as no like getting battered every week and that leads to people quitting.

no just 1 league

tbf we stay in it for like 10 minutes then concede a crappy goal then our heads drop.
we usually outplay the opposition for large periods of the game but just cant score

I'm confused by the Cool team. I can't see anyone cool in there. I thought it might be temperature cool, but I'm guessing Sod is radiating nicely atm the moment with his sunburn, so it can't be that.

I had a shocker last night in goal (6 a side), conceded three which I should have done better with, saved several more but it was my distribution that was woeful. You can't dropkick and none of my side were giving me options, but it felt like every pass I played out was intercepted!

I got a free game once by playing against a new team that needed to be ranked. We beat them apparently that team is one of the best teams at goals.

I've got alright stamina, decent passing and dribbling and I strike the ball well enough. I just don't score many.

for some reson i keep attempting first time volleys which fly over the fence  

I can produce the odd screamer, usually it goes wide. Put me through one on one I score most times.

Im terrible in goal Marky. I play when playing indoor with mate, the usual 1 goal & change keeper. If someone blasts a shot at goal I cower like a girl

I tend to finish better left footed than I do with my supposedly stronger right. I think it's because with my left I don't aim it, I just throw a foot at it in the general direction of the goal. With my right foot I try and aim and always end up hitting it dead straight.

I love pinging those curling shots into the bottom corners. EDIT: Like Fred's finish last night & Cavanis, I know there not stunning strikes but its the whole composed accurate finish I love about it.

It does, I think I probably score 40% of my goals on my left foot.

When I shoot I'm always thinking "hit the target, don't put it wide" and I overcompensate and it goes too near the keeper.

You got to relax more. If your one on one just pick your spot, head down & pull the trigger.
One I love doing is giving the keeper the eyes with fake shot, 8/10 times ill sell it & they will dive leaving me with half the goal empty to pass into.

I was thinking of a similar style myself then when I was playing poker on the laptop the Mrs was flicking channels watching rubbish & thats when it came to my attention. I've labeled it the "The Essex, Hollyoaks Cool Douchebag Cut". You can have with or without the Geek Glasses but for full effect they are recommended.
