Robredo wins in straights, impressive victory over Mahut. Nice to see him doing well again after his recent RG showing, shows he still has real quality when the scar tissue isn't so severe. I think he's Murray's next opponent?

Stakh is parked right side for Federer's serve, so a down-the-T to Stakh BH may work better.

This Federer game is excellent. Properly taking it to the Fed. You can sense all the underdogs feeling this could be their year. Fed really is just hanging on.

Murray through in straight sets 6-3 6-4 7-5. An okay performance but could and perhaps should have made it easier.

Fed definitely needs to step it up and cut out unforced errors, but kudos to Stakhovsky because he is playing some really fabulous tennis

Agreed there have been some uncharateristic errors. His double tea pot stance after missing one shot too many said it all.
Saying that he's just played a back-hand reverse smash and hit another shot round the net just!! Maybe he's realised he needs to step it up.

Looking forward to seeing the highlights of the Dustin Brown match later LS.
Wow - what a shot from Fed appearing from behind the umpire almost! Huge serving from Stakhovsky!

Bit too 'zen' like for me atm! Though two shots in that last S service game were mouthwatering from Fed.

Stakhovsk is just getting everything back in court. Always making Fed hit at least one more shot. Which appears to be irritating him tbh. Especially with Fed's serve. Getting very little free points.
Good match

Efficient and professional from Murray again, just like round 1. Quick recharge of the batteries, then straight onto round 3.

I can't watch the match.
Can someone tell me, is Roger playing poorly or is Stakhovsky playing really well? or both?

Roger isnt playing badly. Its just incredibly bleh. While Stahovsky is nearing lights outs (I think he can still play a level or two over this)

Stakhovsky is playing at an incredibly high level and Roger is slighly under par. Roger, as per usual in this post-2007 reincarnation spurned some break chances a few games back and barely escaped being broken himself.

I haven't seen much of the match, but going on stats alone it would seem that it's a high quality match from both. Lots of winners, few errors.

If Federer loses this I can live with it, the match has been played like we missed the "1" off 2013, or maybe even earlier. Great fun.

It's looking like a 3rd TB, this is gonna be a bumpy ride.
Unfortunately where I am they only broadcast W on one channel - and it's showing Jankovic vs some manly looking woman.

For anyone left in the bottom half of the women's draw (except Kvitova/Jankovic), this is probably the best chance they'll ever get of reaching a Slam final.

12-12 on grass v 122-17 is not much of grass pedigree, is it?
