Roger Federer has been told he cannot wear trainers with orange soles again at Wimbledon. The Swiss defending champion wore the trainers as he eased past Victor Hanescu 6-3 6-2 6-0 in the first round.

The official guidelines state that: "Including the warm-up period, players at Wimbledon must be dressed almost entirely in white."

I am more impressed with Sergy's vollying than his serves, thats the first easy volley missed for the entire match.

What a volley again to save the break point, is Sergy a doubles player? the grass has been too good for S&V players this year.

Realistically no body expected Federer to win this title, so why should we be mocked back, and there is no excuse from us saying ROGER IS INJURED

Really confident body language from all of Stakhovsky's box from the very start of the match - they were all up for it! So sweet to see all the emotion from his wife.
